They couldn't figure out how to make poached eggs. The eggs came out hard boiled and when i asked to get new ones they came out basically raw and made me sick.

A bit limited in options and pricy. Better options in La Jolla, such as the Cottage on fay Street or the Pancake house.

The hotel grounds are beautiful and while the menu is limited what I ate was delicious. Service was prompt and food came out quick. There were some families enjoying the hotel grounds while I was there, so you do get that, but nothing that was overly bothersome.

Great food!

I booked Thanksgiving brunch with my family to enjoy a special treat. I chose the restaurant for the atmosphere and views from within the dining room and the quality of the food. I’ve been there many times. I confirmed my reservation verbally and increased it from 4-6 guests over the phone. When we arrived they did not have the reservation for 6 and almost did not seat us. We were then sat out in a large ballroom with no other guests. We were there around 1.25 hours and there were open tables in the restaurant. We were not seated in the restaurant with the live music and ambiance, which was booked well in advance. It was $641.33 for 6 people have brunch in an empty ballroom. Note: The wait staff was fantastic. Very disappointing since we were hosting two other couples (family).

Good food, great service! One of La Jolla's best keep secrets!

We had a wonderful brunch here a couple weeks ago. We were in San Diego for homecoming at UCSD. It was within walking distance. The food and service was wonderful. The ambience was relaxing and beautiful.

Our brunch was perfect. Coffee is excellent and always refilled. Food took some time to come out but we were in no rush and the place is so beautiful that we were happy to be spending the time there. When it came out, the food was excellent. The crispy chicken sandwich with fries was particularly delicious. Sounds ordinary but they do a superb job with it. We would definitely eat there again, even if not staying in the hotel.

Went for lunch. Inly a brunch menu n mostly breakfast dishes. Got A burger. Parking is $22.00 !! So if ur there an hour - $22! Crazy!

Food Ok. Terrible service for the price they charge. Server are trying their best, but the restaurant is definitively understaffed.
