I made reservations several weeks ago requesting outdoor seating closest to the view and also stated it was a birthday. We were seated at a table inside furthest from the deck and it was ungodly hot. I told the hostess about our request for outside dining but she said nothing was available. My husband spoke to the hostess after we decided we couldnât sit inside and they said they would get a table once one opened up so we sat for 45 min before getting a table outside. The hostess brought us outside and made a snarky comment about how hopefully this would work for me and I wouldnât be so warm. There was never a mention of my daughters birthday and we never said a word because I was so embarrassed about the seating debacle. Our waitress greeted us also commenting about how we didnât like the table inside. We all felt so stupid. We are from PA and here to move our daughter into college here and are not in CA often so I want to sit outside and was willing to wait. We then had a fabulous meal and our waitress was terrific.
Great atmosphere. Food very good. The prices are too steep
The reason to go is the view and Hawaiian ambiance. Food and service consistently mediocre
The only issue we had were that the fries were served cold. They were replaced expediciously but it did slightly effect the overall experience. Service and food were great.
Girls lunch and the view and food were wonderful! Get the Hula Pie you wonât be disappointed!

The view from the table was great. The service was great. The food was great. It was a great experience
Brunch menu was all really good, everything was prepared perfectly and the service was great. Not to mention, the patio has amazing views of the La Jolla coast.
