One of the best places to eat sushi. Although it’s only for take out it is yummy. We could never have enough from this location. It is clean, fresh and delish. Really recommend it!
It’s a sushi jewel in La Jolla. If you’re sushi craving, this is the place. It is fresh, clean, great customer service. If you don’t eat from this place you are missing out!
From a small and kind of hidden store front I had the largest and best tasting sushi for dinner. The fish is very fresh the portions are large and taste is out of this world. The next time your in La Jolla and need a quick fix of sushi rolls pick up some from DELSUSHI.
They are delivery/pick-up only, but always fresh, fast, & delicious! Have been ordering from them for years! Love how they are open late??
This place isn’t awful per se but they cheap out on ingredients. I ordered 3 rolls and the fish/eel was so thinly sliced I felt cheated. These sushi rolls are big but mostly fake crab. The avocado is cut at an angle to make it seem like it’s a decent sized piece. But when you turn the rolls over you can’t see the avocado on the other side. Prices are on the cheaper side and you definitely get what you pay for :/I recommend seeking out other sushi options if you want to actually eat sushi and not repeated mouthfuls of fake crab.
I went on a dark and moody night last week, think it was a Friday, and it was a real quick stop. I honestly had my doubts at first reading the recent reviews but I didn't personally get what the fuss was about, at least that night.One Spicy California Roll to-go (at least during covid it looks like they just had one table out, maybe cuz it was late.) That was all I got, and I'm not going to lie I ate in on the drive home at the stoplights.Nobody was lying about portion size here, it was ginormous! Big portions on the spicy crab mix, which had a good amount of heat to it. I'm glad they're not afraid to throw some extra spice in it, it's a good kick.Service was good too, young man at the register with a very nice lady manning the sushi station who she waved to me as I left. These guys whipped up my roll in 5 minutes flat and I was sent on my way. All in all, I'm coming back again, gotta try more of their stuff
I ALMOST CRIED EATING THE ALASKA ROLL, IT WAS SO SO SO GOOD. WAIT WASN'T TOO LONG, SERVICE WAS GREAT, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND 100000000/10. THE PPL ARE NICE TOO!!! AND ITS SUPER FRESH ^_^
It has gone worse and worse every time we buy. I used to buy bake salmon roll many times in the past and it used to be good, but the last 3-4 times you can hardly see salmon on it and there is only a bitter salmon skin. I gave many chances but I won’t buy again.
Dragon roll~ eel was cold. I’ve always had the eel baked per order nice and warm anywhere else I’ve gone (I’ve eaten a lot of sushi). Also it tasted fishy, unlike other eel I’ve eaten. Avocado roll was extremely overpriced ($9.99)I didn’t finish my dragon roll, I actually didn’t even eat half. That is a first. Spicy tuna roll saved the day sadly..
The sushi here is amazing. Extremely delicious & fresh. They’ve got a customer for life.
