Food is lackluster and tasteless, almost institutional.
Love this place. Amazing quick service, best views, and itâs a bit hidden so itâs never super crowded despite being one of the best sushi places in San Diego! Ridiculously reasonable prices especially considering location, presentation, and the amazing view. Canât recommend this place enough.
Service was a bit slow from start to finish. Tofu noodles was tasty. Poke bowl was good. If you sit along the railing you can get a nice view of the water. This was my first time and won’t be my last.

Visiting for a take-out order, the guy was really nice, friendly, and helpful with my indecisiveness ?.The menu price on the outside/web was not updated, they have increased $1-$2 more; a bit pricey but understandable hence their location.Ordered Chicken Noodle, Beef Fried Rice, Tempura, and Avocado Boba. We were happy, everything was delicious.

It wasn't exactly what I expected. The staff is genuine and helpful. The food lacked creativity and didn't capture the cultural essence suggested by the name, decor. It was run-of-the-mill sushi and a few Asian dishes. Mild, and not very inspiring. Sushi didn't feel fresh. I regret to say it because the team really did try hard - they even tried to accommodate my gluten-free request (celiac). I would recommend they focus on differentiating themselves on the ethnic flavors they know and not dumb it down to "amer-wannabe-asian" food. I had higher expectations from the website, but as it is now, this feels like a tourist, last minute grab-a-meal place. Music was too loud.
