I really wanted to like this place, the staff was very nice, the place was very clean. The food was disgusting.We ordered some french toast and chilaquiles. The french toast looked good, but the entire center of it was soaked with the egg wash. Both orders of french toast just mush.The chilaquiles tasted good, especially with the added cilantro and crumbly Mexican cheese, but it was drowning in salsa verde. This made the tortillas super soft and mushy. The salsa was way too overpowering especially with how limey it was.Needless to say $40 worth of food straight to the trash. I do not recommend this place.
If you guys MUST have Chefs cafe, it’s located in the Sanford Burnham Prebys buildings. Building 5. Horrible location & a maze to find. Best of luck :T

Good food and service! Staff is always smiling and the food is always tasty. Great place for a quick bite on a short lunch. Haven't tried anything i didn't like .

Loved the place and Chef. He was cool and caring. Prepared the salad exactly as I wanted and baked the calzone in front of us. The calzone was awesome
