Best Bao buns and calamari sushi ever. Recommended to wait for an ocean view window and it did not disappoint. Pelicans flying by, sea lions below and the coastal view were worth the wait.
Oh. My. Gosh. This place was unassuming from the outside, but no kidding was the best sushi I have ever had!! The octopus sashimi was so awesome looking (see photo), and delicious…and the sake? Also best I ever had. Not sure I can enjoy sushi anywhere else after this, to be honest…views and decor were lovely as well.
Thanks for accommodating our party of 9 as walk ups. You seriously care about customer service, and it showed from the moment we walked up through the entire meal. Your food was awesome too—we had sashimi, sushi, teriyaki, vegetarian noodles, and more and then your CHARACTER buns (just adorable!!)!! We ate to our hearts content. Our family is the type who doesn’t mind paying whatever amount, for simple good service and good food. We don’t ask for much, and you surely delivered. I wish I could take you home with me, but we’ll be back! Thank you ❤️
Very tasty and a fish was super fresh, literally melts in your mouth. Great service as well. In the day time in better view on the cove and less busy. Recommended:)
Very reasonable priced menu items and excellent views of the ocean. If you choose to sit by the window overlooking the cliffs, be prepared to be hot due to the natural sunlight. Pay for the $14 valet parking as free parking is non existent. The "fat duck" ramen is to die for.

I just ate here. Me and my girlfriend and stepdaughter. Just ate a bunch of food that I've never even seen before and it was so delicious. Ate several things. Some were strange but it was all delicious. I experienced some flavors I had never experience before
Great food. Great view. I would definitely go back here. Everything we ate was good. I would not get any starters and just go right to the meal. Our appetizers were sub par.

Sushi with a view! No reservations so come early and get seating by the window where you will have a view of la jolla shores and beach life. Get mesmerized by the scenery as you sip on beer, sake, soju or wine. No cocktails served. The menu includes appetizers like edamame, salmon kama, karaage, calamari. There's ramen, poke bowls, sushi rolls and omakase sashimi bento box. The sushi is very fresh but no stand outs except for the bluefin carpaccio in truffle oil. The salmon Kama was delicious. There is rib eye on the menu but please remember this is not a steak house. We ordered the rib eye but returned it, not tasty and served with bok choy in soy sauce that spills on to the steak and makes it very salty. Lots to try and not a bad spot if you're walking around in la jolla.
