This place gives off a "we really know coffee" vibe, but alas, the coffee was only average. The yogurt/granola/fruit cup is excellent, as are the muffins.
Was recommended to try Better Buzz while visiting San Diego and it was a great experience. Inside is every millennial’s aesthetic dream, coffee and food were delicious, and this location is a 5 min drive to see the La Jolla Cove seals / sea lions! I ordered an iced honey latte and the honey truly shined through. We also got the almond butter & jam toast, and the avocado toast. All great!
Cool vibes, great coffee. Better than your average Vanilla Late. My wife got herself a vanilla bean late and that tastes stronger like coffee. I went with the powder since it's more of a stronger vanilla taste and no regrets. Great drinks and awesome vibes. Would come again.

This is our second visit to this location. It is a great location, very open and airy and close to the beach and plenty of shopping and dining. Lots of good places to sit and relax with your coffee/tea or even to grab your drink and take a walk around the area. We got a vanilla bean latte and a coconut blended and both were very good. I love almost anything and everything coconut so I was very happy with the blended. I am not sure if you can get it in an iced or hot version but next time I think I will ask. My husband enjoyed his latte as well. The vanilla bean was great, not too overpowering or sweet so it was perfect for him. The staff was very friendly and even though it was quite busy they were getting orders out fairly quickly. Better Buzz has a great variety of food and beverages. Lots of different menu items compared to some of the other local coffee chains which is a nice change when you want something other than the standard coffee drink.
Tried the lavender black tea latte with almond milk. Highly recommend this non-coffee option
The best drink ever is actually the best!I love ordering americanos with a bit of vanilla in them so when they told me “the best drink ever” is basically an iced version of that - I was sold!The horchata iced latte was good to try one time but still prefer the “best drink ever”You can even buy their coffee and vanilla powder they use to make it if you really want to make it yourself at home lolSuper cute location. Completely open so you can enjoy that beaut SD weather. Music was fun too!
Sandwiches are delicious, coffee is okay but service is whatever. One lady with tattoo is always mean and does not bother not to help you. When I placed the order online, they were out of one item from my order when I came to pick up, and Better Buzz could not refund me in store, I supposed to find an email and ask them for refund. The place looks good but far from perfect
