A great place for chicken sandwich lovers. The store is packed when we walked in but it’s worth the wait. The cheesecake waffles are great.
First had it in Oct, went back to Singapore and was craving it. Had an opportunity to visit again in Feb 2022 and was slightly disappointed as I felt the portion shrunk a little and spiciness level got weaker. Always order the country fried chicken sandwich Nashville spicy.
Holy Moly yum!! We tried the berry cheesecake waffles, which were tasty, but bread like in consistency. I didn't love it, but mom did. I ordered the poutine dish with perfectly breaded chicken tenders, brilliantly crispy potatoes, a few sausage chunks, and a tasty gravy over the top. The poached egg oozed gorgeous yolk over top. Just delicious, and happily crowded. We found seats and enjoyed.
Happened upon this restaurant by chance as we were actually stopping by for coffee at the place nextdoor, but man, were we pleased with what we got. Eggbred offers some absolutely delicious egg sandwiches. They also have Impossible meat options for all their menu items which makes this place ideal for vegetarians as well. The sandwiches were so tasty. Not sure what kind of sauce they use in there, but they should really patent it because of how good it is. We will definitely be coming back here again.
I do have to admit...Country Fried Chicken sandwich was good. However, the price of $12.95...was it really worth it? I am not sure. If I was on a tight budget...No. My wife got the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich...$7.95. Poutine and Beer Battered Potato...along with Apple Juice and a can of Diet Coke...$49.05.Experience was good. Not fully sure if I would continue coming on a daily basis...unless I was craving this sandwich/place. Friendly staff though.
The country chickens fried sandwich is AMAZING!!!! The sauce they give you to put on your sandwich was absolutely super complementary to the overall flavor. This eggery is super tasty 10/10 would recommend??
I see eggbread’s Instagram and I think wow, those are amazing breakfast sandwiches! So I finally try them out this morning and I get this minuscule version of their inflated Instagram post! Sooo good! The egg comes scrambled soft so if that's not your style be sure to let them know! I added avocado to my sandwich and it was amazing! Delicious with the freshly squeezed orange juice! Definitely will be back for more! Cute decor too!
Food's great. But you know what's not great? Waiting for your food for over 30 minutes because they forgot to tell you your food's ready. Not once. Not twice, but three times. First time, my girlfriend and I ordered online for pick up. It took us about 20 minutes to get there. Then we found out that our order wouldn't be ready for 5-10 minutes. So we go back to check, nope. They said another 15-20 minutes. So we waited almost an hour from ordering it to actually picking up our food. Second time, they didn't get our order right. We went to let them know, but it seemed they forgot to correct it and give us our correct order. So we had to wait about 25 minutes to get our second part of our order right. Third time I just ordered two sandwiches and after 25 minutes of waiting, I heard them say "hey his order has been ready for awhile, it's that one right there. " That really frustrated me because every time we've gotten our food, it's always been cold because they just forget. And it seems the staff just chit chats and don't pay attention to their orders. I don't want to be a rude person, but I just think the staff isn't doing a good job. It happened three times in a row and it's just frustrating. So just make sure they get your order right, and make sure to check for your order periodically. You don't want to wait 30 to 40 minutes for two sandwiches when it's practically empty. Great food, horrible customer service.
Yummy food. Nice little place to order breakfast from. We ordered the breakfast poutine , avocado toast , mixed berry cheesecake waffle and bacon egg and cheese sandwich.
