Agrusa's is an amazing Italian restaurant, delicious food, big portions, friendly staff! Definitely will be back, when I'm in the area! I'm so glad the Campos's invited me out to dinner! This family knows all the good spots to eat in north Orange County!
The eggplant parm entree was amazing. Real fresh herbs inside and not a dried shortcut. The cheese was high quality. Table nearby ordered a pizza and I'm definitely ordering that next time, it looked great!
Food: I ordered the fettuccine with alfredo sauce and chicken, a side of two meatballs in marinara sauce, and garlic bread. The alfredo sauce has different kick to it. Not as thick as other Alfredo sauces but it drenches the noodles and is great for dipping bread into. The meatballs came in a pair and were covered in marinara sauce and were so tender!!! The garlic bread is to die for ?Service: My server was friendly, accurate and attentive!!! Well done. The food came out in short time and was fresh. The restaurant is pretty large with plenty of seating and there is also a banquet room.Final thought: Best Italian in La Habra. Almost everything is cooked fresh with an order. And you can taste the freshness. I am going back!
Friendly staff and casual ambiance.Their garlic bread is the fluffiest garlic bread I have had in a long time.I tried their baked penne which was tasty with just the right amount of cheese, which is plenty!Will return to try other dishes.
Very, very good food. Finally got to dine here, and I wasn't disappointed. Friendly and attentive staff with good food to boot. Pasta was al dente, my favorite way to have it! Nice portion sized plates, and a must try.
The side chicken soup was flavorful because of the broth but it had too much oil in it that you could even taste it; the flavors are noticeable fighting each other (2/5)and the chicken in the soup was noticeably from canned chicken that you can still taste the Metal of the container. I ordered their daily special which was some sort of pasta with veggies and mix of cheeses as their sauce. The sauce was almost perfect. Same issue here. Way too much oil so I couldn’t enjoy completely. The pasta couldn’t even mix in well with the sauce because of the oil. The tomatoes were perfectly grilled and perfect amount of spinach. I did notice it have some word white stuff in it which gave off a weird scent and flavor. I suggest you Omit it. It contradicts the rest of the dish in a negative way.Store: the store is really cute, very aesthetic from the inside but it smells too strongly like bleach. It’s nice to know the restaurant is clean but not too much haha that’s the reason why I chose to do takeout. The service was pretty mediocre tbh. They don’t greet you nor do they even use their customer service voice. They just take your order and have you wait on the side. They clearly don’t want to be there lol I wouldn’t either if my workplace smelled like bleach everywhere.
