I don't dislike my YukGaeJang but honestly it tastes like some sort of deluxe Korean instant ramen cooked with extra sauce packets and shredded beef. Yeah, custom-made ramyun is no difference than ramen noodle.. So $18.99 is a little expensive for a bowl of ramen to me. And their banchan is pretty medicore. I'm okay with only three types of banchan but they don't taste great. The fish cake is way too sweet. No complain with their service tho.
Tasty soup, warm and hearty. Just the right amount of spice.
Relatively speaking, not sure if I would revisit. Food was ok (but not impressive given the price) and served in a reasonable waiting time. Be aware that each price increased by $2~3 at least. They need to update their website posting.
Bossam is really delicious. This is the first time I see napa cabbage is being used instead of lettuce to wrap the meat. The sauce is delicious as well. The dried pollack soup is a little disappointing because it is kinda bland; maybe that is just how it is, I'm not sure. The spicy soup are definitely better seasoned and is pretty spicy.
The food is great but the prices are increasing and getting pretty ridiculous. Foot traffic is everything for restaurants and I'm definitely feeling deterred. Most stews are around $17 so you're easily paying $20~ for getting any single entree after tax. As a returning customer, I find this place difficult to justify frequenting more often than once every few months because there are quite a lot more options at the $20 range. If an entree after tax is $15, I'd be much more comfortable revisiting once a week or maybe more.
Seafood yum dae Jang taste different at times; broth. And too many empty clam shells and cold soup is not good at all; best in Korea
The wait was a little long, but well worth it! There is seriously only one guy running the front. A lot of online and phone orders came through while we were waiting to be seated and while seated. As busy as it was the gentleman server/waiter was very polite and had a great attitude. This is my goto place so I didn't mind the wait. The food is always consistent and the service is always great.
Gotta get that pork belly! Service was excellent. Kimchee is exceptional.
Love the food but it is kinda greasy and they serve plastic spoon, i understand it is pandemic but plastic is dangerous in hot food
Wonderful PLACE! I truly lived it up and a full stomach in this eatery, and gratitude to the servers who went to my orders in general. The food here is truly stunning, and the assistance is entirely admirable. I was unable to request more from these folks since I was significantly happy with the food and administration. Great job!
