Everything is delicious. I love the place. The fries with garlic is the best I ever ate. (A bit oily tho). They serve very fast. The place is clean and organized.
Ordered a classic grilled cheese on gluten free bread and it was absolutely tasteless. It really tasted like the bread was toasted and the cheese was just melted on. The garlic Parmigian fries were amazing!
Visited The melt on my way to a friends house and I have to say the food was so delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive to my order. I’m very picky so the cashier made sure she read the order back to for accuracy which I really appreciated. I also got to speak with Oscar, really nice guy and showed me awesome customer service. Definitely going to recommend The Melt to all my friends. Thanks again for the great service and great food!!
The grilled cheese ? was so delicious the Mac and cheese was ok ?? I enjoyed the ? strawberry lemonade
Delicious food, serving up comfort food I enjoy, however... my only complaint is how I was a bit confused how the employees give the food to random people without showing a receipt. When they called my number I just came up to the counter, and told them it's my number. That easy? I mean it's very convenient and I don't blame cus how busy they are. Great food anyway will come again!
This place is overpriced and the burgers aren’t even good. The computer to order was slow and didn’t even register what we were tapping on. The worker communicating to us about a question was mumbling & we could barely hear them. You have to pay extra for fries on top of an already $10 burger. When our orders were ready, one of the workers put a sandwich on the counter to take a photo of it instead of giving us our orders then they continued to give my friend the wrong fries. Don’t waste your money!
Not good customer service. Waited for about ten minutes to be served and when I finally got to the counter the clerk shut down her register and told me to wait in the other line. At this point other people had gathered to wait already and we had to wait an additional ten minutes just to have our order taken. Could barely understand the clerk who was speaking so fast. Food was debatable at best as to the quality.
I ordered the melt on DoorDash and this is what I get. The order was super speedy as I love less than 3 minutes away from the Melt. Used to love this place. I realize when you order after the rush at restaurants sometimes quality takes a hit - but if I knew I was going to get this I would have just eaten Mcdonald’s. What a waste of a cow.
We drove by Irvine Spectrum Center a lot of times, it's a landmark of Irvine. Lara and I drove from Pasadena to La Jolla for her lab and drove back every Monday and Tuesday, it was always in hurry. This time was the final on Friday, we decide to get there on Thursday and stay overnight for the morning exam. We did have enough time, so we had a chance to have something. We went to Spectrum Center and had a walk, it was St. Patrick's Day. A group of people in green walked by, and the other four youngs sat around a table all with the green necklaces around the wrist. The Pet Kitchen had a green decoration as well.Besides the normal franchise Chiptole, Panda Express and etc. We walked into The Melt. We ordered two hamburgers both at $8.99 before the tax. Both burgers came with a cute pickled cucumber put aside. We cut the burgers in half then we could have both to taste. The Swiss ‘n’ Shroom MeltBurger had a very strong mushroom flavor which I like. The patty of the Spicy Mission MeltBurger was a little too dry but still acceptable. The spicy was jalapeno not too strong, and obviously sour taste which was good. After all, the mushroom one was better than the spicy one. BTW, the surface of the bun was too oily. Also, the cute pickled cucumber was very very sour, it's too strong for me.
Disappointed by this place. Not cheap and not good. Had the spicy burger with the pickled onions, which weren’t actually pickled. Had the hand spun chocolate shake (wait, what does that even mean) and it tastes like your average soft serve. I find myself saying this too often, but we should have gone to In&Out. Friendly employees though!
