My experience with the Irvine on Culver & Walnut was horrible and this review is truly the worse. I ordered a chicken chaser salad w- extra dressing which was not included in my order, also an impossible char burger, a chocolate shake w-whipped cream ( not prepared as ordered. My sweet potatoes fries were cold even though I said I wanted them to be hot when the order was given to me the fries were room temperature because they had been prepared first while waiting for every thing else buy the top item, a Santa Barbara char burger with No mayonnaise (because of allergy to eggs which causes labored breathing suffocation and hives, Anaphilaxis) So when I got home with my order I had mayonnaise over everything. I request you to comp. My order because I couldn’t eat it! Please know how upset your employees made me after $40.00 and change, I was horrified with The Habit but now that you’ve been made aware of this; What are you going to do? Valerie J. Irvine resident!
Don't use the kiosk to order if you can avoid it, you won't get a pager for pickup, you'll get a text message, maybe, and it makes it harder to get a cup for drinks because you have to wait for a text to show the register anyway. Better to just order at the register. The food is good. I had a pineapple char, or aloha char, whatever it's called, and a Caesar salad. Both good. The salad is usually heavily dressed, so if that's not your thing then get a different salad where you can get the dressing on the side.
I'm a former Habit burger employee. Before they were bought out by Yum! Brands. On a ride in the area, a passenger told me where I could get some food in the area and mentioned the Habit. She said he rlast experience here her burger bun came cold and a burger should be served hot. I came in to this location because it is the location this woman mentioned. I ordered a SB char and green beans(spicy.) The managers on shift were stearn and had angry scared stares rather than warm friendly looks. The SB char toasted bread was cold. The green beans were cooked well. The overall food experience was ok except the cold bun. What was colder? The staff. Not friendly and almost intimidating. Like a bouncer at a club. Sad to see the once wonderful Habit burger brand being diminished...
racist treatment leading to poor service. Mgr just stood there like a dummy.
Good service. The lady at the front was really helpful, I'm vegetarian and this whole time I've been getting veggie burger with grilled onions but she was the first person to tell me that they grill the onions in the same oil they use for the need beef and tasked me if I wanted the raw onions. Really appreciated that help from her. Thank you!
Ordered onion rings, Santa Barbara Char, and tempera green beans and fries with a total price of $15.38. The patties were charred, which gives a rich flavor to the sandwich. The price and the serving size are also very good. However, the onion rings and green beans were too oily.
You would think as a manager if you or your staff made a delivery order so poorly that a customer felt obligated to drive all the way to the restaurant to have the order fixed, that you would have ensured it came out correctly the second time around. NOT Karina though.2/2 orders made horribly, missing and incorrect ingredients.
Asked for my burger well-done…
I really don't know how someone can screw up an online order.I ordered a BBQ bacon cheeseburger with just BBQ and grilled onions. I received a cheeseburger with no grilled onions and no BBQ. The sundae and vanilla shake is underfilled. Dinner ruinedAnd to top it off they gave me a fork for my sundae. A fork!!
Now let me tell you something. Put ya phone down and just get some food there. Everytime, I said everytime I go there the food is bussin respectfully. Such a nice staff of people as well. The wait might be a little long but its definitely worth it. I dont know if theres a better Habit in the area. If there is I'm not trying to find out.
