I'm wondering what happened tonight. My husband picked up two soups to go. He ordered "rustic chicken soup"; my order was "spring white bean and chicken". My husband searched in vain for chicken. What he found was two small pieces of chicken skin and lots of little twigs and sticks from herbs. I was lucky, my soup did have chicken. However, there were 0 white beans. NOT EVEN ONE. Nonetheless, it was not bad.Unfortunately, this experience has taught us to search elsewhere for take out food.

I love Tender Greens and this one is no exception. The food was delicious. The staff was courteous. Everything was great. I got the steak with mashed potatoes and Caesar salad. It was all splendid. Highly recommend Tender Greens for affordable super yummy food.
My go to spot everytime I make it to California. Seared Tuna and mash potatoes. With a salad of your choice. With a slice of toasted bread. Been visiting these locations over the past 10 years. Definitely a must try for a great meal. Try the mint lemonade! They don't have fountain drinks. About $7 for children to eat. 12.50-15$ for adults. Top notch!

Alexis, who works at the Irvine Spectrum location is extremely rude. This location was pretty terrible overall.They were out of watermelon aqua fresca, root beer, and roasted potatoes to name a few things, so we couldn't even get what we wanted to.I picked up two steak plates with mashed potatoes and in-season vegetables. They give us a very small portion of vegetables, and the steak was bloody and basically all fat. We had to throw the steak away because it was inedible.I called and explained the situation to Alexis, I asked for a refund or even a gift card. She was so unprofessional and unwilling to help at all. She ended up hanging up on me. Disappointing for sure.
Tender Greens was the chosen spot for our get away from the children date. My wife ordered The Chinese chicken salad, and I ordered the seared tuna with butter lettuce And mashed potatoes. I read a review, and that said the mashed potatoes were delicious. However, that was not my experience; everything was good, but the mashed potatoes. I asked about the potatoes; then I was told the regular cook had not come in, and what I was given was a rushed batch. That cost them a ratings star. I loved the seared tuna and my wife was thoroughly satisfied with her chicken salad. The mint lemonade was excellent! They even had a green juice that my wife liked that was a miracle all by itself. The french fries were very good. The restaurant was clean in the ambiance, very casual. If you like to people watch like we do Tender Greens is a great place to do it. The employees are pretty cool too. I recommend this place for you.
