Everything was really good. Maybe the best I've ever had outside of east LA.
If the chef takes your order it will be wrong. He should stay in the kitchen or try a little harder on his customer service.
Staff was really kind and food was good, especially the chimichanga. The fajitas were nothing special.
Girl with the glasses in front is too rude.
Don’t get fancy - order the cheapest and most popular there. We had a faijitas deluxe that costed 25 dollars and it was terrible. However the $4 dollar tacos were flavorful and reminded us of Mexico. Again same with the ceviche- they gave us some bizzare drink with it where the ceviche sits on top and it was totally weird and not yummy. So stick to the basics and it will be good
The food was so good! My husband and I both loved our meals and the staff was so friendly! Definitely will go again!
This is my first food review ever, which shows how good this place is that I felt compelled to write one. Tavo’s is truly traditional street style juicy flavorful Mexico at best, and brings a lot of styles from Jalisco. And I’m from Jalisco, and have had my fair share of mediocre tacos around here. This place is BOMB. The Birria is DOPE and the tacos Gobernador are wow. Come eat here you’ll be amazed.
Tucked away in food hall type of place, Tavo’s Cocina offers Mexican catering which is perfect for Cinco de Mayo or Taco Tuesday meals! We really liked the tacos and quesadillas. Unfortunately the nachos were soggy by the time we got home :( but having fresh chips and salsa on the side definitely helped!
Delicious and loaded with protein! Quesa-girria taco is something I've never had before but was absolutely amazing! The service was great with a very patient and helpful staff!
Good mexican style. We had the mulitas they were really good! If you like spicy The red sauce is very spicy.
