I think someone over there Love's me cause there's no way my food should be that filled up and delicious that or either they hate me soo much they trying to put me in a food coma either way they got a new customer I am recommending Gordon Ramsey to try this place out... Extremely bad customer service for a response to missing items on a good order. The guy from the university drive location actually told me that he didn’t cook the order so too bad!!!
There’s finally good Mexican food in Irvine. The tortillas, meat, and salsa are all prepared exceptionally well, making for great tacos. They have both “traditional” and “American” style quesadillas which go well with their sides & salsas. I sampled their tacos and enjoyed them all, although the chicken was a bit dry.The venue is spacious, the food is good, and the staff is friendly.
Some of the best tacos I've EVER had. Definitely not overpriced ... the four dollar signs $$$$ has to be a mistake! If you're watching carbs, you try the keto-friendly version (the "shell" is made of cheese), it's 100% as good as any other tortilla. BONUS POINTS: This is the only Mexican restaurant where the carne asada isn't hard and dried out, and still has a bit of pink. Delish!
Absolutely fantastic. They season the fries for California burritos, and the front staff are exceptionally friendly. This place is my local haunt.
Food was delicious! Loved the tacos and mulitas with the yellow corn tortillas. Various salsas to choose from. Fairly close to authentic.
Their 0 carb tortillas (aka just cheese) were VERY good for my keto diet. Tacos are just a pile of meat with whatever seasonings wrapped in cheese and I couldn't ask for anything more
I have been going to the Taquiero by UCI for a few years now so I was naturally excited when I learned of their new restaurant in Alton Parkway, a bit closer to my home.However, the food at this location is definitely subpar compared to its original location in all of my visits. This last time I got some steak fries that had over fried fries with almost no meat. Disappointing.
Amazing food in a clean environment. Portions are large and lot of delicious choices... indoor and outdoor seating. Great Beer selection...
