1st visit they bundle all my two orders of chicken wings & squid ball into one box which I didn't mind. My 2nd visit I had 3 orders of chicken wings, added instruction to separate bag/order because several people put in the order. when I pick up my food was all bundle up into one box. I questioned, they said "store policy". They want to charge me for service charge for each order if I separate the bag. I don't get it, but it will be my last time to visit this place!Sorry, just not happy with the service and never heard of such policy!!!
Authentic Taiwanese street food with plenty of outdoor seating under the canopy and extremely quick service. Absolutely outrageous that this place is only 3 stars. This place def hits the spot for a tw og. We'll be back very soon.
Welcome to this atypical Taiwanese fast food place that shockingly lack customer service, LOLI sent 2 reviews in Yelp on this last year on forcing customer to spend at least a minimum of $10 before can use credit card and the previous Happy Hour promotion is limited on each receipt and per in person . Next, I know, the owner took the Happy Hour away! When others and I complained about the bad customer service in Yelp, probably due to Covid too, the owner made all these kiosks at the front of the restaurant so we do not need human interaction! Therefore, just get used to ordering from kiosk and learn how to do it, is not hard. You can even order online too! For the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken owner(s), I am just warning you that your foods can be good but if you do not have great customer service or member reward system, your business cannot thrive! There will be other businesses going to see this weakness of yours and opened up another eatery and become your competitors. I LOVE Kaya Restaurant at Culver but the owners and the staff have the lousiest customer service that I seen. When people asked me where is a good Korean tofu restaurant, I always said Kaya but warned them that lousy service so they will not be in shock! Everyone went there to eat the great food and experienced the lousy service that I mentioned. After pandemic, they only survive not long and closed down a few months ago! This proves again that if you are looking to maintain your business and looking for profits, you not only provide great foods but you need to have great customer service! Lacking in customer service will make your establishment become less competitive when market changes! Let me know if you need me to help develop your front employees and/or help you to develop your business! I support you only because my youngest daughter love your foods and do not want you to put of business or not making money when I see the potentials there! I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think I am conflicted because everything was cute. We got fish balls, popcorn chicken and mushrooms, non was seasoned just thrown in a bag with very little seasoning. The mushroom was I don't know what so hard, can't even chew it. I am a big support of small businesses. Many businesses are struggling under the current climate, I feel bad for the business owner for losing loyal customers over this kind of employee. Be rude to the customers isn’t way to help your business. I was excited to try this place because I do like popcorn chicken. As for my first experience it wasn’t pleasant that is the reason why I will be going back.
My favorite is their signature popcorn chicken. It is cooked to order. It is not too salty and it arrives crispy. You can choose your spice level. You get a reasonable of chicken for the price. Their lunch combo is a particularly good deal. The only drawback is the lack of human interaction with the staff. You order either through an app or by using an in-store tablet. Even if there are no customers, there is no one to take your order.

I really don't know how you are doing business? Is the girl at the front desk the boss? Angry when ordering twice, is it the customer who owes you? Still not willing to open? Then please don't open the door, the food is not delicious, and you are so arrogant and unreasonable, you can't bear it?
Food is good, and they have self order kiosks in store so you can either order on kiosk or order via their online app. Chicken filet bento box is so good. The meat is very tender and flavor is very authentic.
The food is ok. HOWEVER I have no idea why the front desk girl has been always that rude! The attitude is so horrible.
Girl at the front register was very rude and disrespectful. I was just picking up a online order but when I got her attention and told her my name she straight up told me she “didn’t have anything like that” I specified my name again and told her that I DID INDEED place a online order. So she finally went to go check the multitude of bags behind her (takeout orders) and found my order and just essentially threw the bag on the table without even saying anything to me. Very rude and unpleasant experience
