Wandered into the hogo for the first time in ten years. Well, it's not even bad, though not mine. The ingredients are fresh and the soups are delicious.
I would say this place is a good place to eat hot pot.Compared to Shancheng Lameizi or Haidilao, I would say this place has as tasty ingredients as them. But the texture of beef was a little bit chewy.However, this place is very clean, and menu is strongly english friendly. Unlike Chengdu Laozao or Shancheng.All in all, recommend this place.
I have to say that I am just deeply Impressed by my first visit here. On every level, Impressed! The service was amazing... Very very personable, So many different staff came by all the time to check on how our table wasdoing, even up to who seemed like the head chef would come personally to check on us! They were all very nice and there was no pressure at all of any kind. (Otherplaces would rush you to order and to finish eating, or make you feel like they have no time for you and that you're lucky if they allow you 2 min to order). When I asked a question about the cut of the meat, theyactually went and tried to find out. The ambiance was very nice too down to the music selection. They play Chinese music, since it is a Chinese restaurant, but it is the chill mellow kind, not too old school, and isn't the type where you feel like you should be at a wannabe hip party or something. And the food was all very high quality and the Broth... Wow!! It was perfectly spiced, wasn't too bland, and not overly salty, and plenty of natural herbs!!Just extremely Impressed with everything!!! Definitely going back!!!
Fantastic! First time having hot pot and this place was excellent! Tried each kind if meat, tofu, tofu skins (thick), veggies, glass noodles... Amazing! Service was very attentive and helpful. Sauce bar had many things to chiose from and lovely sesame red bean dessert balls. Can't wait to go back!
This hot pot restaurant is the most authentic hot pot I have eaten in Irvine, the ingredients of the hot pot are authentic! The meat and vegetables are very fresh! This hot pot restaurant also has skewers that are very delicious which you can’t find in other restaurants! It also offers free snacks.
I am really enjoying their food. It is a great place to have some Chinese traditional food，like hotpot or skewer.additionally，their staff are really nice too，their recommendation is really decent. The mushroom soup is the best.
Great place for group bonding! Real authentic place for a Chinese hotpot. I have been to this place several times now. It has not disappointed me any single time. I spent about 40 bucks last time I visited, which is a really fair price. Definitely will come back again!
I have to commit, this is the best hot pot I’ve ever had. Excellent service with perfect food supply. I highly recommend you to try it out and u will never regret. LOVE IT FOREVER!
It’s actually so good. So many free appetizers. Good soup base for the hot pot. Fresh food, one of my favorite restaurants in this area
Great Hotpot Experience. The overall setup, taste, and service are really authentic. Shame I didn’t take any picture though. Their “Spice Beef” stand out from the rest. My friend had like 50 of those. And he kept saying he wanted more on our way home.
