Ice cream with great concept! Everyone must try it , delicious
I love this place I really do. Prices are up due to economy, and for after quarantines, the hours say it opens at 11am but they're not ready til noon.Do you not pay everyone enough to get them in at 10 or does the Spectrum have some ridiculous policy?You can find the SomiSomi across from Joyce's bar and grill near the theater. You get this funny crisp and fluffy waffle in the shape of fish (Taiyaki) with a choice of filling that are Red Bean, Custard, Nutella, and I forgot what else, along with a soft serve ice cream that changes seasonally.It gets pretty popular at the end of a date/day out, so I suggest getting dessert here early/grabbing some to go. You can always eat at the fake grass or on the cinema steps.It looks clean walking in albeit looks pretty sparse. No inside seating, and no public bathroom afaik.
I love the ice cream and the taiyaki here. Excellent staff and service! Their rotating variety of unique flavors make every trip here interesting. I wish they had smaller options to choose from and the ability to adjust the sugar but given that it's ice cream, it's understandable
I got a lovely custard taiyaki! I wish I had looked closer at the menu - I thought they all came with ice cream! But it was still very good. Get yours with soft serve!
I stopped by here to fulfill my ice cream fix and to take a picture for the gram of course.It was close and I was too lazy to continue walking through the spectrum.I got the taro and milk ice cream in the fish with custard.The ice cream was really good. I would come back for it. Fish and custard very mediocre.My only complaint about the ice cream is it melted soooo quickly. It was dripping down my hand within a minute of stepping out of the store. And no, it was not a super hot day.I would probably come again the try other ice cream.
The ice cream here and takiyaki is amazing. Takiyaki is made hot and fresh and can be filled or unfilled if asked. And the ice cream is so smooth and creamy.
Way too long waiting to get a very small ice cream
Definitely asked for cookie butter, but they have me (and everyone we were with the cream flavor). Pretty sure they were out of everything except that flavor and didn't tell us. Decent ice cream she fun presentation. Taiyaki was so-so, definitely had better elsewhere
The ice cream is definitely good, but I think the management should rethink about how they run this place. This location is usually dirty and unorganized. The staff work very hard and whenever we go there they are working fast and hard, but it seems like they are understaff compare to the long lines in front of the store. We also got wrong flavors after we ordered although in our receipt it had the correct order. Anyways, not happy with our experience and I hope they make some changes…
