Delicious and fresh meat!Great Japanese restaurant!

I was in a little rush today so came in early wanted to order Togo. It is understandable the waitress wouldn’t open the door for me to order. However, I gently asked if I could order to go. She still wouldn’t let me in. Then she takes someone else phone order and prepare their food before me but still wouldn’t let me in to order. I’m a little speechless. I’m standing there 20mins and she wouldn’t take my order but order phone call takeout first.

Good Japanese food and good service. Good place for a quick lunch or dinner. Food served within 10 minutes after ordering.

Food are delicious. Fresh and service are good. But price is bit high.

We came here to try the 4 steps enjoy hitsumabushi. The eel is great! Also highly recommend Negoya Teba! It's very delicious. The service is also good and quick.

( Edited on April, 2022) I'd give their kitchen food 4 stars but overall rating 3 stars. The Cleanness and the Taste, Quality of food are good. But limited menu for order ahead (many items were not available) or more than one-two hours wait frustrated me to order to go in several occasions, sushi bar orders are longer wait. Menus from kitchen takes less time.

Ordered a buri teriyaki, got forgotten by the kitchen. They game me a free grilled salmon after they caught it, but since they rushed to present my order, the fish skin was not clean, I had to spit out around 5 pieces of fish scales.I also found out the fish is uncooked, blood and uncooked meat were presented (did you know that you can’t push through raw but cooked fish ? I found it out today!).Meanwhile, their attitude were remarkable, they took off the fish from the check.Just writing this note done to remind myself, next time go to where people actually care about the food they are cooking and would eat it themselves.

The authentic and unique cuisine that you can't find at any other Japanese restaurant in Southern California. From dishes that originated from regions of Japan which any one of the chefs are from to a weekly and monthly menu Shusai menu that is changed out every month, there's always something new and different to try. If you're a food explorer looking to expand your Japanese cuisine experience, this is the place to go. If you sit at the sushi bar and happen to catch the chef who put together the week's menu, they'll gladly tell you all about the dish from its origins to what makes it such a great dish and can suggest a sake/beer/shochu to go with it. Hands down my all-time favorite Japanese restaurant to go for dinner and drinks and when a quick lunch is all I need, they have a great lunch set menu that has always been consistent in the attention to detail for quality and taste. This spot has been here for over 30 years and anyone who knows commercial real estate can tell you, rent price rises every year. For a small mom & pop like this to be there that long, they're doing something right, go see for yourself!

its okay, had the miso katsu. portions are kinda small for the price.

Good food, fresh and quality
