Such a cute Boba shop in Irvine but their tea is too watery.. couldn't taste the tea at all. I was disappointed with the taste but it's cool how thet actually brew the tea in front of you but that's all it needs to have more flavor.
Nice place ! Rose lychee drinks is amazing ! Good outdoor seating area ! One of the better boba places in city ! Not too long wait times unlike places like omomo
Of those of us who got “milk teas” they were too sweet and not very flavorful. The boba was half uncooked (as in have the pearls were hard and the other half was fine). I couldn’t personally taste much matcha in my strawberry matcha milk tea. Overall nothing amazing, but not terrible. They have milk alternative which is a plus!
I’m sure this place is usually fine but tonight was horrible. 45 minutes for 6 drink orders is completely unacceptable. Watching guests who walk in 30 minutes after us walking out with their order before ours. Disappointed with the lack of communication with either them forgetting the order or the delay.*note: this was a mobile order. This could be an issue with that.
Sorry but won't be coming back. Drinks are fine but I bought two $20 gift cards a couple months back. One ended up having Zero balance. Sometimes POS systems don't work and the money does not get put on the card. With that understanding, I was hoping to bring this issue to the manager here at Res Straw so that it doesn't happen again.I explained the issue to two workers and they had to answer to what could've gone wrong. I told them that I don't expect them to credit me or refund the $20 because mistakes happen but even after one of the cashiers spoke to the manager, she did not try and talk to me to resolve the situation or even get a clarification.From one manager to another, speak to your customers, especially if there's a complaint or issue with service instead of ignoring them while you make their drinks. Use this instance as a learning tool for your employees. And if anyone is thinking about getting a gift card here, double check the balance on each card after they give them to you.
I prefer here than other overrated places with long lines. Yes, it is a little bit more expensive... but, you are drinking a luxurious drink already which is ($5-6)per a cup.
Made to order bubble teas (boba), coffees and specialty drinks. Ranging from traditional milk teas to butterfly pea flower concoctions, to dalgona coffee-inspired drinks. Everything is made in house, to order and customisable as far as sweetness. Boba is delicious and perfectly chewy. I love the osmanthus oolong milk tea with oat milk and boba.
Great drinks! Never really had a bad experience here. It's starting to get more and more popular.
