4 years ago I rated this place 4 stars and since then it has deteriorated immensely. Recently, I had to cancel my in store order after waiting 30min & they never started it - with 4 people working.I now drive out of my way to the other locations to get my Nekter order promptly and smoothly.
Being a local, I have gone here many times despite each visit being sub-par. The customer service is slow and the juices/smoothies come out bland and watered down.As an example, today when I arrived to pick up my online order, I was asked for my name, then left standing for the next 25 minutes unsure if they had even received my order or were working to complete it.The only reason I am giving this place a two-star review instead of a one, is for some of the very few good experiences that I've had here. Needless to say, this will be my last visit.
Waited five minutes in front of the register. Was told they were busy and it may be a while. I left. Three people working. Two in the back. Got fish down the road in 5 minutes.
Delicious juice! I ordered the greenie and it tastes so good and I like that It’s the perfect amount of sweetness.
I hate to do this because I have been coming to various locations in Irvine for years and things used to be good but today I came just after opening on a Sat morning and it’s clear nothing had been cleaned the night before. Straw wrappers on tables and napkins littered all round the floor. While I waited for my juice to be made and I observed for the enth time that the employees are children, that there is no management at most locations ever to keep them in line, the Woodbury location witnessing rudeness on multiple occasions, not notifying customer when you are out of an ingredient, taking more than 30min to make a juice while two employees are standing around, and on this particular day as I looked at the dirty table tops and dirty floor I wondered…if the front of the house is as dirty as the back,…what do the juicers look like, are they being cleaned regularly, what does the back kitchen look like? I also wondered will I eventually get sick given their poor hygiene standard. But I got my juice and moved on to going home. It wasn’t an hour or two later that my stomach started to hurt and to growl and sure as can be, the juice went right through me. Never happened before but given this cherry on the icing I can’t keep quiet any longer so thus my review. This was the Orchard Hills location, the Woodbury location as I mentioned is no better but has different issues. The only location I have never had an issue is the Quail Hill location and that is because a caring employee/manager named Monica makes sure that location runs as it should. Nektar Management, please get your house in order before someone gets serious Ill.
Ordered a smoothie bowl delivered, same one that I always get. The bowl was made horribly wrong, and tasted rotten. Can't even contact anyone to make a return or get my money back
I went to this location this morning and just stood there for 5 minutes at the register without anyone acknowledging me whatsoever. There were three young guys preparing other orders, so I patiently waited. 3 customers came in to pick up their orders and one employee stopped to help them. However, I was still standing there and they just ignored me... no, "please wait" or "hello, we'll be right with you". Nothing!I got frustrated and left. Called in to speak to the manager, yet no one picked up the phone. Tried a couple of times and still no answer.So, now i'm here writing a review.To the manager, train your employees better or continue to lose customers.UPDATE: (January 19, 2022) I emailed the Nekter customer service as they requested in the reply and have yet to hear anything back. It seems whomever is monitoring these reviews don't care either. They just post cookie cutter replies like, "We care about what you have to say, please email us" and then continue to ignore you.UPDATE: (January 21, 2022) Customer service replied and seemed sincere in addressing a customers concern. I went into the location today and the both the employees there immediately said "hello". Great job! :)
Pretty rude customer service! Went to get a juice at 6:45 which is 15 minutes before their closing time and they told me I can’t order. Better change your working hours to 6:45 if you will refuse customer service at that time.
This has got to be the worse nekter ever. Come prepared to wait upwards of 90 minutes to get your order. And that’s no exaggeration. They are always understaffed with kids that don’t know what they are doing. Manager, if there is any, nowhere to be found. Place is filthy and sticky. I really don’t think the place ever gets cleaned up… ever!Go to the one by the pavilions shopping center on culver and portola instead. That one has no issues.
Great service, vey nice employee attitude and of course the great taste of the healthy juices..
