Got the Hakata Tonkotsu DX! The braised thick pork belly and chashu were bursting with flavor. I’ve tried numerous of ramen places across California like ramen nagi (which is also very good) but marufukus pork belly is so unique, flavorful and their ramen is top tier. I don’t eat spicy often, but I do recommend trying the medium spice for a nice kick that isn’t too spicy! I also tried the marufuku bites! The pork chashu with the Mayo type sauce paired so well together, it was delicious! Definitely recommend marufuku ramen :)

Great soup base. The noodle texture is great.

Wow, that was the best Ramen I've ever had! I've been to Japan and this Ramen was even better than what I had in Japan. The soup was super tasty and the meat was perfectly tender. This place is definitely worth a visit!

I had one of the most amazing Ramen Tonkatsu here. The brth was light but rich, the pork belly was perfectly braised and the noodles are just right.I chose outdoor seating on this beautiful sunny day. I look forward to revisiting next time I'm in the area.

It seems expensive to have a bowl of noodle soup for $20 but it was well prepared and both the pork and broth are delicious. Only if it wasn't that salty, I would give 5 stars. BTW service was very friendly.

Wow, what a great ramen place! Their noodles are excellent and taste different than other ramen restaurants I've been to. The broth is super flavorful and not too heavy. I really enjoyed the huge chunks of pork in the ramen, versus the thin slices you normally get elsewhere. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. The server explained the menu and went over which dishes are the most popular. I really loved the yuzu soda! Lots of free parking in the lot, can get hectic during lunch hour.

i just want to be honest and say that they don't give you much broth, it's tasteless like almost watered down. when you burp and eat something deliicious you taste it but when burped after their food it honestly tasted like water. my mouth felt lonely with no flavor attached. i felt it was over priced for the portion andflavor compared to other places i have been where you get more it's tastey and like $4 dollars cheaper than their bowl. i wouldn't reommend the place to anyone to be honest. it was disapointing. i honestly feel like the emplyees had writen some of these reviews as my old job had me write good reviews that were actually fake. however this is a real review with real disapointment. this place just doesn't compare to HiroNori Craft Ramen, Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai, Ajisen Ramen. These places were far superior to Marufuku and if you don't believe me just try them out for yourself. the broth is my favorite part about ramen and i was sad that they barely give any let alone there was no flavor. when i saw my bowl and scooped up some broth i could tell it would not be so great and my gut was correct. before you disregard my review please try these places and see for yourself. i don't see how the rating is so good. tonight's dinner was depressing on all levels by portion, to the look, to taste, to price and i understand there is only onse server. they should have another, i could tell she was tied and can't judge her service because she did the best she could to take care pf all tables. i can not blame her for the taste of the food or the portions. bless her.

Delicious Ramen and good portion.nice place , clean and cozy . Great service as well.

On our way home from LA going towards Oceanside, we stopped by Irvine to grab some Dinner. Since it was kinda late, Ramen sounded like the best Option! The Buns tasted like pleasure, Takoyaki tasted like dessert goodness (I KNOW it's not a dessert, it's an appetizer.) and the Hakata Tonkostu was amazing! Noodles had a great taste and the broth was rich in flavor!I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Ramen or Japanese food.

After having waited for about fifteen minutes and having two tables greeted ahead of me (despite sitting either at the same time or after me), I had to grab a servers attention to find service.During my meal, zero people came by my table to ask me how things are, if I'd like a refill on my tea or water, in fact I felt personally snubbed by the server due to my prior actions. She looked over at me, but made zero effort to check up on me.Now I understand times are tough, I'm also in the food industry, but I also understand how to give exceptional service. This was a far cry from what I'd imagine the owners would like to see.The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the food itself was delicious.
