It was my first trip to Lazy Dog, it was amazing. The bartenders and bar manager are very friendly and very attentive to all of the guests. The food is very good. Food portions are nice sized and well priced. To review, good food, great service, and an open welcoming environment.... I will DEFINITELY become a regular guest.
So. We stopped by Lazy Dog today with our dog for the first time. We heard they are dog friendly which they are although you have to eat outside which is cool. We put our name in and were told the wait would be about 45 minutes. We watched several people pass us by but figured it was because we had to eat outside. After 45 minutes we went in and were told they had our name and phone number incorrect. How could they get both wrong???? So we gave them our name again and they said a few minutes. We noted there were 8 open tables outside. After 15 more minutes we checked again and they had forgot us this time. With 3 people working up front you would think they could do better. Anyway, the food was good and the waiter was cool but the experience was not what we expected. Hopefully they will correct this type of situation in the future. Cheers ?
I love this place! Their late night happy hour is our thing. It's not too busy then. The prices are great and so is the quality, not to mention the service. There was an error in our order and the staff was so apologetic. The manager, David, came over to to talk to us and apologized. He was so nice and even comped our food. I highly recommend!Don't forget to check out the beer club!
One of our favorites for lunch when in Irvine. We met a local friend here and shared a great bottle of Chardonnay and their incredible Ahi Tuna Salad. It was more than enough for two full meals. The bartender "Nick" was a great host and offered what we needed before we asked. Since we were celebrating 53 years together he offered a special "Free" dessert. Wow what a treat. Great time and food here.
First time trying Lazy Dog. Service was attentive and food was all good. Good, fun atmosphere. Bar available, several large tvs featuring various sports games at the bar. Ample parking at the Irvine location.
Love love love lazy dog! I can say that I've tried about 90% of their menu, breakfast (brunch), lunch and dinner, and quality and quantity is always high and on point. Come in with or without your pups, your order food for your doggies too. Great spot.
Just an amazing place. The place, the vibe, the crowd, the booze, the food.. just amazing. This place is extremely busy so make your plans accordingly. it's worth every minute waiting. I had the mango chile margarita and it's out of the world
Previously (peak covid) they got 5 stars from me, right now I wanna give a one. But I give an extra out of pity.Ordered a mimosa flight, all glasses looked a little dusty but one was chipped from the lip area and one literally had food on it (out of 3). Took 12 mins to get the glasses out coz I guess they didn't have more.Donut holes are basically mini churros.Banana foster proportions seemed wrong I terms of egg to bread. And the whipped (whisked at best.. not whipped) cream.. was liquid cream. This is all besides the fact that the table was dirty. Outside smelled of sewer. Somehow the Indian restaurant from far away was giving better smell in the patio than the patio itself lol.
Food was good, nice portion size. place was packed, so was a bit loud.
I've been here mostly for HH. The deals are stellar. So definitely swing in for some cheap food and drinks.I loved the edamame.Came on a regular day and enjoyed the black and blue pizza. Buffalo cauliflower was tasty as well. I love the dog menu for your fur baby.
