The best ramen place. This is the only place I go for ramen, all the other places are absolute garbage compared to this place. This is the only place you should go for ramen, most of the place in the OC area that I have been to are gross and absolutely disappointed. You won’t regret it trust me, this place more authentic then most places like that hiro nori garbage.
Awesome awesome. One of the best ramen you can get in OC. Broth is super flavorful and noodles always have excellent texture and chew. Usually a wait during lunch and dinner peaks.
Too overrated and overpriced. The Kitakata Ramen was not worth $15. I have never gotten chashu slices so thinly sliced before. I also only got 3 of the bamboo shoots. I don’t understand how my order could be worth $15; it was hardly anything. My meal was basically just noodles at that point and it honestly feels like a huge ripoff. Wish they gave more.

Chashu katakana ramen is good, mixed pork and vegetables ramen is good as well. So as chashu rice bowl combo as well ?
First time at this place which is just a couple blocks from my house. The wife had the spicy misu and I went with the Kiakata original. Broth was smooth and good but the ramen noodle is a bit large and curly. I thought I was eating soba ramen. I prefer the straight thin ramen but that's not what's offered here. The spicy ramen had lots of flavor but taste was just okay. Bottom line is it's not worth waiting in line for 30mins.
Easily the best ramen in South OC! Start with the pan-fried gyoza, get the juicy fried chicken, and then enjoy the melt in your mouth charsiu and unique, made-from-scratch noodles. We've tried the rest, but keep finding ourselves coming back to the best!

Highly recommended by my workmates so I decided to give it a shot. And sure enough it definitely did not disappoint. My favorite part about the ramen is that the noodles are homemade. Karaage was perfect too!
Love their spicy miso ramen! The noodle was chewy and pork meat was tender with full flavor thick soup. I liked it better than plane miso ramen.무지하게 맛있어요^^
