Happily they were Not very busy when we came in around 2:45 for Mother's Day lunch. The parking lot was noticeably vacant so I thought this would be a really great time. A party of 3 adults, one 6 year old. The food was spot on Except my Moa chicken breaded sandwich was burned Or they hadn't changed their oil for some time. Overall the service was adequate, noticeably somewhat confused & rushed by All of the attendants -- when our appetizers showed up they did not bring small plates so we ended up using napkins to take serve ourselves individually. I am a STICKLER about this. All it would have required was some experienced thought. TIPS REQUIRE THIS & I feel sometimes that some servers are relying on guilting-tips due to covid times. Whatever a food server leaves out, I can do at home, no tip required. For future reference regardless of where you work, or who you work for; act as if your favorite people are showing up to be entertained, served by you. I always tip 25%+, but did not here. When I tip, its Not because they are needy. Because they are worthy. This is a great location, and I'm hopeful that things are better next time. Typically I go to the Islands every few months out in Irvine off Culver but it's all boarded up. When I inquired a out that closure they said they weren't making enough money. And if this sort of service continues here, in Tustin, I expect the same. People Have Many choices eating out. Step it up folks.
Joe and Derrick (managers) keep a clean and friendly restaurant that provides great tasting fresh food in a timely manner. We always Enjoy going there!!
I am a vegetarian and wasn't very fond of burgers in the US until I found this place. I absolutely love their veggie Hawaiian burger which has pineapple slices and teriyaki sauce.
I ordered a “Chicken Beach Bowl” today and the chicken was a bit over cooked. I asked for a new piece of chicken and was given an entire new bowl and my food was taken off the check. I’m sorry I didn’t get the manager’s name, but this is how service should always be. I did not expect anything but the new piece of chicken. So refreshing! And the restaurant was full! So happy to see that (and everyone’s smiles)!
Islands is always a consistent experience. Good service, good food, and quick service. My experiences at this location have always been great.
My whole family loves dining at Islands. Although this is the first time we came to this location. They have good selection of drinks, everything they have they offer in VEGETARIAN which is a big deal for my husband. They should offer more variety for kids meal. Plenty of parking at this location.
Food is awesome. Love the china Coast salad ? it was so delicious ?. Also, they get the best Cadillac Margaritas.
Thankfully, the fries are returning for the meals, so that was a plus. Great location. Didn't have to wait long on a Saturday. Clean and we were attended right away

First time at this Islands and upon being seated the table was not clean. Burgers were tasty, asked for medium well and was definitely well done. Truffle fries weren't that great, tasted a bit stale to be honest. And literally had to ask multiple times for napkins.
