As ramen goes, this offers the best authenticity in Orange County. It's probably been around the longest too. It doesn't compare to ones in Japan but its good and simple.
Had salt ramen. The soup, noodle, and char siu are all good.
Great customer service experience this ramen is definetly the best in all Irvine and ! Specially the tonkotsu misu, five stars totally recommended.

Hokkaido ramen was very good. I can see why this is a popular lunch spot. Located in Mitsuwa market toward the back. I didn’t realize there was side parking, but that would’ve put us right next to the food court. The ramen was good and my husband enjoyed his soy sauce char siu. All contained meat as far as I could tell so not a good vegetarian option.
Husband just missed the yellow chewy noodles . it's always been his go to whenever we're in Mitsuwa.

I liked it my first time, I tried the spicy miso soup. It was a take out order and it was good. If you order make sure to keep track of the time.
Santouka is hands down the best chain ramen place in LA. this one is no exception. the quality of their noodle is consistent no matter which store you go to. do keep in mind their soup base is of the more rich variety thou, so if you don't like your soup a little strong and heavy, you might want to keep this in mind. I do wish they put a little more natto in their natto bowl thou. and I forgot to ask for the mustard for it too. still taste great thou, so no big deal.
Excellent food, helpful staff members, regularly excellent mood. They charge affordable rates and the food quality is excellent. I recommend this place.
