The food here was really good, the restaurant was clean, the staff was really friendly, and food came out after a reasonable amount of time. The tonkotsu ramen had a flavorful broth, the egg was still jammy in the center, noodles were cooked al dente, and pork was seared well. The gyoza was also really good as you could taste the charring and they were pretty filled. My friend who had the char siu said that it tasted good, but the portion of rice to meat was a little skewed. The cost of gyoza plus ramen was around $22 ($14 ramen, $6 gyoza), if anyone was curious about the prices.Overall really nice meal and experience as a whole, definitely will be coming back in the future.

I love the the broth isn't too salty. Karaage is lovely. Chashu has a nice flavor and has a perfect sear. Thanks for making me fatter, you guys.

Great place for ramen! Great service, very attentive. The broth is delicious, the noodles and chashu everything is so perfect. Also I love their appetizers, must eat!

Loves Spicy Miso Bomb! Servers are nice and helpful, and service is quick. I liked the vibe if the place and the music they played.

Used to be a decent ramen place. After remodeling, the interior is nice and clean, staff is friendly and efficient, even some of the appetizers are good! However, the place is called “Ramen” and this was easily the worst ramen I’ve ever had. By far. The soup itself feels like it’s a literal instant ramen, which is not even the best quality. In addition, chashu pork felt like a piece of tire, absolutely inedible. I wouldn’t say a thing if the price wasn’t at the same level as other much better ramen places in the area. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to prevent anyone from going here, just please don’t order ramen. Otherwise you will be very disappointed

Ramen was really bad (tonkotsu ramen). Portion is very small, mostly noodles, almost no broth. Char siu was tasteless and chewy, broth wasn’t good either. For this price you can get exponentially better ramen in Irvine. Staff was nice, interior was clean, but ramen was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Very disappointing.

Played a Miku song. Very awesome.

Staff was really nice and food was bussin. The best ramen I’ve had in a while. The manga wall is also good for taking pictures.

The squid leg was to die for. It is crispy, fresh, and overall yummy. The ramen and tonkatsu curry rice is very good too

Another delicious trip! We’re celebrating a birthday a day early just so that we can have lunch at Gyutan! The karaage is one of the best fried chickens I’ve ever had, and the shoyu ramen is perfect every single time.
