After our favorite wing place was closed due to the pandemic, there was a wing shaped hole in our heart. My fiance and I came here and we were blown away. The seasoned fries are excellent, they've got that unmistakable seasoned fry taste, just like Jack In The Box curly fries but better. The boneless wings are good, but I think the bone in wings are better. No idea how they get them so crispy, but they're incredible. 10/10, wing shaped hole in my heart filled.
Today was my first time visiting and I will be back! If you're looking to satisfy the guilty pleasures your heart desires and haven't been to this hole in the wall, you do not know what you are missing. We tried the lemon pepper, plain and buffalo wings and each were delicious. The buffalo was a little spicier than what I would have liked but still very flavorful. This is not the Korean spicy wings that you can find this is the Super Bowl wings that you have during game day yum. This is the place that you’re licking your fingers because the sauce is so good. For every guys dream draft beer yeah!!! Amazing wings Yum!!! Coming back hell yeah!!! I would say this is the best wing place in Irvine.
Excellent wings! Friendly staff, short wait. The wings are a little on the smaller side. I had the lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan - both were yummy!
Been here 3 different times on 3 different days of the week just to make sure I didn't have beginner's luck the first time going there, and let me tell you, each time just gets better and better. The staff is friendly, presentation is as good as it gets for a wings location, and the food is phenomenal. My boyfriend's favorite is the Thai Chili so we always get that. I have tried the Peanut Butter and the Malaysian Curry Rub and the Saigon Street (my favorite). Here's a breakdown of what I have tried so far:Thai Chili- taste like how it soundsPeanut Butter- reminds me of the peanut sauce that you dip spring rolls inMalaysian Curry Rub- staff member explained that it reminds them of a curry packet in store bought ramenSaigon Street- if you don't mind fish sauce this is the one to get. Disclaimer: Eat at your own paceIf there is a line, it is worth the wait. Yes, sometimes it can get understaffed but they are doing their best.
So glad to see this one popped up near me!!!! I love their dragon bone-in wings and zucchini sticks!!! Simply made but delicious and not overly seasoned. Not to mention, crunchy! The carrot sticks definitely add a hint of freshness. Yay!
The food here is overpriced for what it is. The boneless wings I got were smaller than I expected and tasted very average. They were swimming in a pool of sauce, way too drenched for my taste (another reviewer said theirs didn't have enough sauce, so I guess it all depends on who's preparing the wings). We waited close to 40 minutes for our food after we ordered and we had waited in line for about 15 minutes before that; it wasn't super crowded either. One positive is that the cashier was very friendly and nice. This place has a huge selection of sauces and rubs so I'm sure some of them are worth coming back for but I'd rather go somewhere that I know I'll get quality food that's worth the price.
Very underwhelming! There was a little line when I walked up, however I noticed some empty seats at the bar so I took one. There's a register right next to the beer taps, yet it wasn't being used. I went on a Saturday night, so maybe they were understaffed? More on this later. Waited close to 10 minutes and wasn't even acknowledged, so I got up and got in line.I ordered 10 boneless wings with Saigon Street and Thai Chili sauces as well as a regular side of Chili Tots. From ALL the review pictures and menu shots it looked as if their wings would be drenched in sauce, however my boneless ones were hardly coated. I'd say B-dubs puts more sauce on theirs, and that's a pretty low bar. There was a group next to me who got bone-in wings and those looked much more saucy, so maybe that's the move. The tots were meh. Tater tots with hormel canned chili w/ beans (BEANS! because I want more carbs and less meat with my tater tots smh) and nacho cheese sauce. Be great if you're drunk... but that brings me to the bar situation. There was no bartender. I had to order my beer with my food, and was not asked for refill or otherwise. There's a pretty decent beer selection too, very disappointing. The one saving grace was the friendly service at the order counter. Guy who took my order informed me to get the combo rather than the individual items I selected, which saved me a couple bucks!All-in-all very underwhelming, and with a B-dubs literally in the same shopping center didn't stand out in any way.
Went to Fire Wings after it first opened based on the reviews posted on Google. The food was just average, not a place I would go back to as there are better wing places in the area. It seems like a lot of the initial reviews came from people close to the restaurant. For example one person that posted a reviewed said these were the largest most meaty wings - which they are not.... average sized. The store was clean and the staff were pleasant, and helpful.
Better than Buffalo Wild Wings for sure. I got three different kinds, and all tasted good. They know how to make something hot! The spicy fries were also great.
Best wings I have ever had. They were so good. 100/10. My husband and I really enjoyed them.
