The food was good and the place clean. My friend ordered a 3 pieces combo and he enjoyed it. This time I was there only watching because I had already had lunch.
Got a burrito at the drive thru. And as usual they stuffed it with all the old hard chicken bits that they couldn't give to someone sitting in the restaurant. If it weren't pouring down rain I would have asked for a replacement. Seemsnto be a corporate policy at El Pollo Loco to screw the people in the drive thru. Makes me sad. I've literally been eating there since the 80s. I won't go back.
I didn't understand why this store does not have chicken cooked at lunch time. it's not like they were busy or anything nor was I placing a big order. i was the only customer at the drive-thru and could not fill a 12-pc order at noontime. I was told that I will have to wait 30-40 mins for a 12-pc order????
They were low in staff and they weren’t moving at a great paste. Portion wasn’t fair and the chicken was cold and disgusting. I found a hair in my chicken nachos. Overall, it was not worth it.
Tasty grilled chicken, by piece or combo. Sauce, corn /or flour tortillas. Grill visible, very clean. Fast (means ready on the grill not fried) a great alternative to junk food. No more excuses ;)

Burrito was excellent but got ripped off as I noticed that chips but no guacamole sauce was added. Was looking forward to dip and noticed that burrito has no sign of avocado inside.
Store will close randomly at peak times because manager doesn't want to deal with long lines. No signs or cones are set up to tell people. App still lets you order pick up and curbside but when you get there they will have door closed and not answer calls or knocks. They will force you to go through the drive through and wait in the 30-40 minute line for a pick up or "curbside". Best waste of your lunchtime.
This restaurant is very dirty in general, the interior , and exterior tables, the bathrooms. I don't think they sanitize the place, only one cashier to take orders and serve the food, if you have only 30 minutes break go to a different restaurant you are not going to get your food on time.
