I would have scored this bagel joint a five if they could maintain the outer crispiness that New York bagels have. However their pizza bagel is quite good and so are the other varieties of non-traditional flavors such as cheese and jalapeños. In the mornings there is usually a line. Their bagels are soft and chewy and taste good.

My family has been going to East Coast Bagels since before I was born. Great bagels, same great owners, who are working there everyday. These are the bagel I judge every other bagel by, and are a must have when back in town.

Absolutely my favourite place to get bagels! They have been here for years, and have always made some of the best bagels in the Irvine area. Make sure to get there early since they tend to run out toward the end of the day.

It's rare to find a place where you can eat a bagel without any spread or toppings and the experience would still be satisfying. The bagels here are fresh, tasty, and moist. I always enjoy the lox and bagel, the way they prepare it is perfect and has a good balance between the bagel and the filling. Most importantly they don't skimp on the lox which a lot of places do. There is always a line but it's worth the wait since everything is fresh.

Very cute place with friendly personel! The bagels are amazing, super tasty! ❤️❤️

No prices listed on the board= Induced by Transitory Inflation? Adapting to what's to come in USA??? Don't need to list the price if you gonna change it every month??????A guy who makes a bagel sandwich doesn't cut corners. The lox bagel was fresh, flavorful, perfectly toasted. I like the fact that they include capers.Going back to price, not expensive, lox bagel was about $7 plus change, not bad. The price of coffee was low and of good quality.Yes, it is as good or better than lox bagel sandwiches of NORCAL.Go around 2PM, no line then.?

Without a doubt, the best BAGELS.... HANDS DOWN! Almost always a line, even weekdays! Large variety and always FRESH! Well worth the wait. The Staff is fantastic and very friendly. Quick. Never a mistake to us in over 10 years.

Bagel: 5 stars (everything else… basic)Let the owner know that you’re allowed to use fresh herbs? Sauces? Tomato sauce? Salsa? You’re also allowed to crack some black pepper? You’re allowed to pan fry the meat before it gets on there so it doesn’t taste like a warm lunchable.

Best bagels I've ever had. They are better than bagels from San Francisco. Top tier. 10/10

I can see why this place is so popular. The wait was insane but it’s worth it. I got the lox bagel. The bagel would’ve tasted amazing by itself already but coupled with lox, jalapeño cream and capers… it was heaven. While it was amazing, it’s not something I would go for often, unless they do Uber eats like their Long Beach location.
