A great place if you want AYCE shabu shabu around here. It has been few years since my last visit. When we got there around 5, the place was not crowded. However, soon the place was pacted with the crowd. Try not to go for other side items than meats as they will try to tempt you to fill you but go for it if you can resist. Those items(fried chicken and Korean spicy rice cake and fried rice) are pretty good, better than other specialty restaurants in those. Shaved ice is pretty good after you are done with the meal. Will come back.
The best! Great quality of meats! Side dishes are better than specialized places!! And yes there are desserts…
The quality of the meat is great and the dipping sauces were also good. I wish there were more broth paste options since the broth itself is somewhat boring. When it gets busy, it's not ideal since everyone is crowding the buffet area. The buffet has a good selection of vegetables and sides like japchae and rice cake. I think it's still one of the better shabu places in Irvine and wouldn't mind coming here again
This was a fun and delicious meal. The buffet was great for making the shabu your own. It is self served except the broth which they bring to you and you can request more if you run low. They check on you often for your meats and are polite and friendly. Great for family or friends. If you've never had or been to one it is a great way to try something new and open up your experiences with new and fun ways to eat!
Really good place if you know what your doing. Everything is made by you there was really no direction you kind of just wing it. The experience was pretty neat again if you know what your doing. Overall for $33 bucks per person all you can eat wasn't too bad.
This place is so delicious. We crave it at least twice a month and we are there at least that often. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We love that there are so many seafood and vegetable options. We do not eat pork or beef and we still feel like we get an incredible value and so many options. If you ever want to try shabu/ hot pot, this is a great place to try it out. Easily our favorite in all of the places we’ve tried.
The cooked food are better than I thought. Even though the shabu meat only have six choices, it's sufficient enough. Drinks included and SHAVED ICE!!!!! ?
Meat quality is fantastic. The stations were clean and well organized. Servers always come by to make sure plates are cleared, bring you the next order of meat asap, and always make sure you have everything else you need. Great experience overall.
Joined the waitlist on Yelp with an approximate wait time for 20 minutes. We arrived here on time, and the wait time was delay for 20 minutes. It later got delay for 30 more minutes and I check with the front desk with the 50+ min more wait time and the lady said: oh you didn’t check in with me! Then what’s the point of online waitlist? There is no one single notification saying that we have to check with the front desk when we arrive. Excuses are excuses. Bad service ruined my night.
First time going to a Korean hot pot restaurant! I was nervous because it’s been a long time since I’ve been to an AYCE place. Everything was sanitary and staff was super nice. Meat and vege were fresh; I also enjoyed the fried chicken! I only wished they had sa cha bbq sauce! I was also disappointed with the bing soo dessert station - I was expecting fresher fruits or other fun ingredients; it wasn’t too appetizing to me.
