the "latte" I had yesterday was actually a coffee with milk. There was not a real latte foam at all. Just espresso and the warm milk. The girl who made it said that she was too busy with other orders to do a foam. O_oThey also do not accept cash and take credit card only.
Very quaint place to get coffee and minor desserts. Lovely and private location away from other businesses. Also, they really love their chocolates! So many selections.
Was pleasantly surprised by this place. The interior is nice, but its main selling point is on the exterior. The outside of the place is very beautiful and well planned. There is *plenty* of seating, though it is only outdoors---thankfully this is rarely a problem in this part of the country. Shade is plentiful as well. The barista and cashier stuck me as competent and knowledgeable about the coffee trade as a whole.I only have two gripes: the slightly small menu and the hours.In terms of flavored lattes they are a bit spartan for me. They do not have chai, which is a bummer since dirty chais are my favorite drink. For what its worth though, I enjoyed the Mocha that I did order. If (when) I return I'll likely stick with that. Also, they close at 2pm. As a student this is a bit limiting, but I suspect that won't matter *as much* for the people who actually live close to the shop.

Cup Coffee is a hidden gem in East Irvine. I frequently go here in the morning due to the great neighborhood coffee shop vibe.The cold brew is my favorite drink, but the other hot beverages are great too! The pastries amazing and I recommend the pistachio croissants and donuts.The team is very friendly and provide top notch service.*Tip* - If you buy a coffee tumbler for $20 it includes 10 free coffee refills that can be used over the coarse of many visits. It’s a great deal!Highly recommend!

Lucky to have a quality coffee shop right in our neighborhood! Staff is friendly and you’re able to place mobile orders for rushed weekdays, but we love to lounge or stroll around the shop on weekends. Definitely in our top 3 contenders for good coffee!
Looks gorgeous and would love to enjoy it more. Went at 10:30 and they had no food items (pastries) left so left without having anything. If coffee drinks are the only needs then it’s a great place
Great local coffee shop with reasonable prices.I had a meeting nearby and grabbed a coffee from The Cup. The staff was friendly, the coffee was perfect (Flat White) and the price was good. If you are in the area and need coffee - stop here and support a local business.
