As always California Fish Grill is a known quantity. Happy, friendly and polite staff. Quick service. Quick meal prep time. And as always super tasty.However, knocking off a star as there is some meals that despite being on their menu online are not there ocne you get in-store. (Cajun seared Ahi for example).Now I suspect that it's a supplier issue rather than restaurant, but still mildly frustrating if you're the type of person to decide ahead of arrival what you want, then it not be on the menu and you have to 'quickly rush' your decision.
Food was good but it was pretty cold, for some reason instead of a buzzer they requested my phone number. 26 minutes later I went by and still no food, so I went to the pickup area showed my receipt and they said they called my phone twice and it went straight to voicemail. So he left a voicemail, I requested he call again and I asked another employee do you see my number in the recent calls he said no and he dialed my number and it rang immediately. I then told the guy who said he called he should not lie it makes it worse, I am more accepting of mistake due to you all being busy or he just forgot to call. He blew me off, the other folks apologized, lol I still have no record of the call and I never got the two voicemails. I spent $52 on this day I had more food, but the other items were put in takeout packages because the family was irritated . My poor little taco fell apart I am assuming since it sat so long. We just requested takeout containers for everything and took the food home to warm in the air fryer. I wanted to request the food be done over, but the family had enough of waiting around for thirty plus minutes. So I chalked it up to a bad experience…
Ordered a shrimp skewers, New England clam chowder, and mahi mahi on DoorDash for to go with a total of $38.19. The seasoning and sauce went really well with the fish. The fish and shrimp were fresh and juicy, and also tasted great. You can pick a sauce and two sides for the grilled specialties. Overall, the fish quality is great, and the price is reasonable. I would definitely recommend it.

This location is the worst! They always forget something in pick up orders and when you call to tell them they either say you’re lying - that they remember your order and that they put the item in. Or they offer you something free next time you go, but you have to call and speak to that specific manager in order to get it. Forget about curbside pickup because they will forget about you! I’ve picked up soggy orders after waiting 20 minutes for someone to come out and today, I left after waiting 30 minutes with two small children in the car. I am absolutely done with this location and quite probably the restaurant as a whole. Keep in mind, if you order online, they charge you before you pick up your food, so when you never receive your food, well, good luck with the refund ?? The quality of the food here is hit and miss. One day everything is great but then another day the quality was very disappointing. It could have been due to the different cooks on different days. On my last visit, the shrimps were really undercooked to the point of being translucent, I had to throw them away for safety reasons. The white rice was also hard and crusty from being undercooked, or cooked with insufficient water. Too bad I did take out so I couldn't show it to the store manager. I'll give this place another try to see if I might get lucky with the food. Will update my review if things get better.
Well I wrote a review for this place, google said it was saved as a draft. It wasn't. So here goes #2. Delicious fresh healthy prepared fish. They have several different kinds. I had mahi mahi my fav. The idea of this place is to get people to eat more fish. It was grilled with nice zucchini to go with it. I reccomend the fried green beans. Really good and crunchy. I think the were coated with parmesan. I didn't like the asparagus. They put a sweet sauce on it. Its better without it. I don't like sweet vegetables. Not unless its a sweet potato or corn. You can always request it without the sauce. I'll definitely be back. Fish tasted great and I feel good eating healthy. I wanna come back and try the fried catfish. They also have some nice Kendall Jackson white wine to go with your meal. Overall I like this place. Service wasn't bad either

Food is affordable and amazing. Salmon or whitefish are my favorites and I like their addition of tacos. They used to have a tofu taco. Please bring that back.
I tried it the first time yesterday and there was nothing to like about this place. It is a self service eating place and the eating environment was not well lit. The food quality was at maximum mediocre and the plate that I ordered barely covered the plate. I had to buy something extra so I didn’t have to leave feeling still hungry but the line was long. So I had to order a soup on my phone and waited for 10 mins for it to become ready. I appreciate the men and women working there but I will definitely not go back to this place again.
