I've been going to Boudin's for many years. They have by far the best sourdough bread I've had anywhere. They have a number different types of breads and seasonal breads also. Everything I've had has been good but it's all about the sourdough for me.(Oh, and the chocolate chip cookies are to die for!)
This restaurant was awesome. Visited for the first time today and what I can say is:I'll be back, and I highly recommend their customer service, attention to detail, food satisfaction and overall their sweet little business ??
Overpriced and mediocre at best. Some skus are really gross but most are enjoyable when I need something easy. Avoid the “French dip”. The breakfast sandwich is good especially because it’s actually priced reasonably. Jersey mikes is 1000x better for less.
Food is good same as all boudins. Two issues on my most recent visit, pan handled in the store while putting money away by someone sitting in the store, very uncomfortable for my girlfriend who was the one holding the money especially when we just want to sit down and eat. second issue was the service was extremely slow, I had to get up and ask where the food was at just to find out that someone had already punched our ticket through even though we didn't get our food.EDIT: They reached out to me about the situation and apologized for the odd experience :). review has been changed from 2 stars to 4 due to how they handled the situation.
Great food and great service. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
I complained about their vans parked in front of the bakery, taking what should be customers spots or pickup only spots, but they are still doing it. I will have another fight with my wife so we stop getting food from here. It’s really annoying. And here is the picture as proof.
The reason for my low rating is because you guys are the ONE AND ONLY business that usually take one or two spots in front of your store with your useless vans. Several times when I went there to just pickup my food, I needed to park and walk. A few times I decided to have dinner somewhere else because the parking was full and the van was there!
This is in reference to the service, and only the service. Food is always good, but the service needs a complete over haul. It’s no wonder that everything seems to be going to an “AI” world, where vending machines are making pizzas, and even juice. Management… until the “service industry” becomes obsolete, let’s try to remember that first word “Service”. Please put people on the registers that have a clue of acknowledging a customer, and saying thank you. Regardless if you are training someone, service with a smile goes a long way. Dude with brown hair wearing a light blue shirt, who worked on 8/15/21 @ 4:33pm, train yourself about “service” before you start training someone else.
I've always enjoyed Boudins and make sure I stop for a meal every time I'm here since I no longer live in area.
