The Nile Bar is a wonderful experience! Before you enter you are greeted with professionalism and courtesy. As you enter the open elegance of the restaurant is welcoming. The myriad of Big Screen TVs are inviting and you know that you are in for a great time! The food is fantastic! My guests had the tacos, lemon pepper chicken, sweet potato fries and the buffalo cauliflower. Each dish was simply delicious! The hosts were so wonderful and the atmosphere was great. I will be coming back for more and I am telling my friends, family and colleagues. Thank you for an amazing time NILE BAR!!!
Me & my friend were invited out last Tuesday for a Book-signing event. The ambiance was great. The food was delicious and the Owner Betty along with her staff was very nice. I had a wonderful time there not to mention the music 🎶. I plan on returning very soon. 😊😎
I enjoyed my drink-After Dark. The waitress was very nice. The music was good and there was a nice crowd for a Thursday-not too many and not too little. Will definitely return. My friends and I were there to celebrate my girl's Bday ?
The Nile Bar207 South Market StreetInglewood, CA 90301Hello guys here is another weekend adventure. Today I visited the Nile Bar in the city of Inglewood to celebrate a friends birthday. When you walk into the bar it is very appealing. This afternoon there was only 1 bartender when we first arrived. It could have been that they were not expecting such a large party all at once. There were 2 waitresses that were inundated with all kinds of requests, which made ordering food very slow. You had to ask for napkins and silverware to eat with.I shared a bite to eat with my SNL, a “ Street Taco” they were average nothing to brag about. But the “Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings” were to die for. They cooked them exactly the way I like them, firm. The first DJ started off pretty slow, but then he picked up the pace as more guest arrived to get the party started.As the night went on, more waiters, waitresses and bartenders came in and were able to attend to the larger crowd.Would I go back, Yes! Although things started off slow the atmosphere, music and people were great.
We just had a great time at the Nile Bar. Our server, Kianna, was great. Good food, great vibe. So happy to have such an establishment in my neighborhood. Congratulations Betty??. See you soon ???
I am from Ohio and came to this bar and as welcomed from the time I entered the door! Great customer service and staff and even better ambiance and food! I wish I lived in LA and I would make the Nile Bar my go to hang out spot!!
Sadly when you have to rate it more on " black owned" experience ( as a black customer) , you realize just how pisspoor many black owned restaurants and bars truly are!Staff at the Nile Bar is polite and fun to interact with, more of a mature crowd for a small cozy bar- food is basic bar fare and average and can improve a bit with a better chef or cook, drinks are decent and pricing is average for a bar ( not much in the way of " well drinks" or 2 for ones!)The overall experience makes the Nile Bar a pleasant place you can frequent for happy hour and weekend stop ins. One of the FEW places in Inglewood where NON minority hipsters and new transplants don't make locals feel like they are somehow " in the way".
Me and my girls came here for one of thier birthday weekend and we had a great time. The owner Tony was really cool and as a matter of fact we came three days in a row. If you looking for a older mature crowd and some good food then this is a place to be.
Me and my fiancé had a chance to go to the Nile Bar on a Thursday night. The place was outstanding. It’s located in the heart of Inglewood historically where many black businesses were established and run. The Nile Bar did not disappoint. So for you travelers that are have a long layover in LAX and you need a nice spot to chill and to get a couple of beverages, listen to an excellent DJ, The Nile Bar is your place. BTW, from what I understand, it’s good for locals too!!!
Dope new spot. Definitely recommend; good music, ?food, reasonable prices, amazing potential !!!!! Downtown Inglewood, walking distance from the Forum and SoFi stadium.
