Decent sandwiches but pretty expensive for what you get. The shrimp po'boy came with a decent amount of shrimp and sauce, but definitely not worth $15. Nevertheless it was delicious! Just wish it were a little cheaper for what they offer.
Sells $18.00 sandwiches yet still charging .75 for a simple hot sauce. Don't think I will be back. Not a good business practice
This location is not as good or serviced as the Downtown, and Slauson locations. I ordered ahead 2 cat fish and shrimp dinners only to get to the place and be told they forgot to put my order in. We got pass that, another 20 minutes I finally received my order and failed to check it. When I got home I discovered that they had given me 2 catfish dinners. I called and the girl argued with me and told me that's what I ordered and that I had made the mistake. I ask to speak with the manager and was left on the phone for 10 minutes. I called back and was left on the phone again. The girl Kelly or something like that had a very bad attitude. Never going back to this location. Also, the hot sauce had so much oil in it until it messed up the whole mean.
Fantastic southern inspired sandwiches. Wide selection of chips and cold drinks. They also have great salads, and dessert options. Staff are always friendly and accommodating.
I thought I was in New Orleans!!!! Been a while since I’ve written a review but this place compelled me! In the area I grew up in and decided to stop by this gem while visiting. First time here so I ordered what I thought I might like. The OYSTER and CATFISH po boy and the lemon pepper catfish combo daily special. Oh-my-lord it was beyond delicious!! That sauce with it is mild but very, very good! I absolutely loved my meal and will be back every time I visit! And the bread pudding was some of the best I ever I tasted, and I come from a family of great cooks!
Sandwiches are good, the attitude that you're given when you point out that their instore menu prices are incorrect...not so much. Cash register ringing up one price, menu reads differently.
First time here and i loved food, tried the wings yummiest, clean place.
I don't eat shrimp so I was extremely surprised to see all the different varieties of po' boys. I had the chicken tender po' boy. Loved it!
Pricey but the shrimp and oyster po boy was spot on. They gave me hot sauce that was flavorful and not just spicey.
I expected more from a $16.50 PO Boy sandwich. 6 shrimp, mayonnaise, shredded lettuce, and tomatoes. Too much white bread, and it drowned out the shrimp. Not much, if any flavor. I gave it a try as it had high stars. Maybe it wasn't for the sandwich; I hadn't read through the reviews.
