Emerging from this pandemic, I am glad that they are back with late hours and new decor/style. We had great service. The food was good to fair I look forward to when they are fully staffed again. Otherwise, we left satisfied, full, and humbled.
Our waitress for today was Patrice. Approachable, patent, courteous and had carried very good vibe as she went about her business. Well rounded in customer service. Thank You for a good timeThe food was delicious and was consistent with NORMS standard.
Great service.. good food .. great food for your $$
I haven’t been to a norms in about 4 years, I decided to come here with my sister and my grandma for her birthday and let me say my experience here was WONDERFUL the server, Bryan I believe his name was, was so kind and patient with my family and I he even recommended a dessert for my grandma for her birthday (we ended up not getting it though because of how full we were haha!) anyways, this was my first big purchase as I am only 16 and wanted to treat my grandma for her birthday, my sister and I order the chicken Alfredo pasta with gumbo and salad and my grandma ordered a steak with the shrimp and baked potato and chowder and salad, everything was so delicious and there was so much food we got full! If you’re looking for a restaurant with friendly staff and high quality food that comes In large quantity, this is definitely the place for you!
The taste of the food is totally different from the Norms on 182nd and Hawthorne. I'm just saying. The food is not so great here at this location. I thought they would use the same recipes. Hands down on the customer service though. My hat goes off to the manager for not hiding in her office. Thank you Shanon for making right my wrong. Lastly, experience is the best teacher try it out for yourself your experience maybe different.
Our server hardly checked on us and quickly gave us our check after delivering our food. When we received our food, my partners steak was closer to medium rare than medium well. Our eggs were cold, and my hashbrowns were so crunchy I could only eat a small portion that wasn't overcooked. The pancakes and waffle were amazing though
Service was out of this world amazing, just a shame the food didn't add up. Definitely try the cotton candy lemonade if you dare to come here anyway.
This is the second time I am waiting almost an hour for my order which I made online… I thought the whole purpose of online ordering was to skip the wait.. I received a text saying my order was ready for pick up so I come down here only to be told that they are just now getting it ready so I sit down for 20 minutes get up to check and was told it’s still being made… I’m pretty reasonable and I understand if the place was super busy but it’s empty.. it’s now been an hour since I received the text telling me my order was ready for pick up. Unbelievable
As a meatloaf aficionado from Texas I like trying my favorite comfort food anywhere I go and when visiting a new state it’s an adventure to eat locally. Norms hot the spot for me. The menu was classic fare, and a good variety. But my eye honed in on the meatloaf and it was a joy to order it! It came with soup, a salad, two sides and BACON!
First time tryin out Norms. I was excited because of the LA historic googie architecture design. However, they Definitely need some improvement. Not up to my expectation how the food looks like in the photo. Although the staffs are very nice and friendly. They need to improve their food quality control and the plating presentation. Maybe I have a false expectation.
