Me and my family just left this place and it was amazing. We didn’t even make it to the door before we were greeted by our server. She was very sweet and timely even though she expressed she was new to serving but worked there a while. Now the food was top tier soul food. Every bite was better then the last and I used 0 sauces for my Turkey chops. Didn’t need it! Turning to the ambiance, it was great to look at the history around the room from celebrities to activists. Random; the bathroom is amazing I love the details stayed in there longer just looking around.Thank you so much for a amazing experience. I never felt so at home. Until next time ❤️

Its sad used to be so good but now the charge a lot and skimp on the meat. Ox tail dinner had 2 small ox tails and a lot of bones in gravy. Short ribs had no bones and was just a few tough pieces of meat in gravy.pork chops was thin as napkins. Nothing had flavor but the dressing and greens. It was bland. If u closed your eyes you couldn't tell what u were eating cause nothing had flavor. So sad used to be one of the best.

For 35.00 I got four ox tails and under cooked rice. And the dressing if you want diabetes definitely order the cornbread dressing. It was the sweetest dressing I've ever ate. The Mac and cheese was okay but nothing to write home to mom about. Over all will I order from this restaurant again NOTT!!!!!!! Never in this life. The real M&M' a restaurant has some of the best soul food in the world But Ms B's should definitely that the M&M off the name of her restaurant because this food will never live up to M&M reparation.

I was really in the mood for some good soul food today but it just seems hard to find around here. The good: good service, and I’d give the catfish a 4 to be nice, also liked the dressing. Mac is edible but nothing special. The bad: rice and gravy is trash, absolutely horrible. Bland and waterlogged like they didn’t drain the rice water. Cornbread also very bad, dry, hard and not edible. Shed a tear throwing out the cornbread ?The

They have the best customer service. Our waitress was the sweetest lady. She was a older black lady with the best customer service. Great environment. The food was excellent, so delicious, with good portions. I recommend this restaurant ,especially if your from out of town like me. If you want some great soul food, this is your place.

Staff was helpful and they were not busy. The greens and the short ribs were a little too salty but with a decent flavor. It is quite expensive, as a short rib plate with a medium amount of ribs, collared greens, a few pieces of yams, potato salad, and two small pieces of corn bread came to over almost $28 without a drink.. I'd pay somewhere around $16 for that meal.

Well, I’ve been planning a special dinner with my family of 7 to celebrate a milestone and decided to look all over Los Angeles for the “best soul food” restaurant in the area and my wife decided on M&M’s I mentioned Roscoe’s or Dulan’s instead but wow after reading all of the horror stories about service and how bad the food was prepared and tasted I’m literally afraid to dine at M&M’s because of my dinner being ruined with a horrible experience. Really wish I had felt better about going there and having a great fist time experience…..sorry M&M’s

Food was delicious!!

The homemade food was amazing and healthy. Please patronize the business location not good however once you get there you will not be disappointed . Oh! You must try the homemade tes&punch together ❤ An excellent waitress name Carol and entire staff??

This place is trash. Do Not waste your time money, or appetite. Service is the worst. Food ranges from mediocre to inedible.Items on the menu are not actually available. And I don't mean they were sold out. I mean they don't offer them. But they are on the menu. And the prices on the menu not the prices. My aunt asked for coffee. 15 minutes later they advised her that they couldn't make coffee because they had no coffee filters. We were a party of 10. The food came out intermittently. The food was supposed to be served with cornbread. They were bringing out the food and told us the cornbread was in the oven. Some folks were almost done eating before others even received their food. One person never received their food. The chicken was terribly overcooked and the skin was so hard it was inedible. Same goes for the red snapper. The sides tasted like they came from a can.My cousin ordered wings. It was supposed to be 8, but she only got 6. They still wanted to charge her for the whole order.I could go on. Just stay away from this place. This was the worst dining experience I have ever had.Oh! They didn't have enough flatware for 10 people. Some people received plastic to-go forks. They offered no refills on the drinks that were served in Styrofoam cups.I think I need therapy after this experience.
