This restaurant has the best Oxtails in Los Angeles County hands down! The portions are large and worth every penny. I would not go anywhere else for JamIcan cuisine. The taste is superb and the meat is so tender it falls off the bone. Whenever you are in Inglewood, stop by Hungry Joe's, trust me it will be the best decision you make...

Ordered online twice, never been to the location. Had oxtail, stew peas and my friend has oxtail twice. Portions was adequate to have leftovers. Food was seasoned and cooked well (I’m Jamaican, so I know). The potato pudding was heavenly. Highly recommend this place.
Hungry Joe's is a good option for Jamaican food. I had jerk chicken with ox tails. My meal had more rice than I could eat. The jerk chicken had just the right amount of spice for me. The ox tails tasted good but had more fat than I like. The employees were nice and helpful but didn't seem to want me to make substitutions. The center is small. Parking can be an issue if it gets busy.
I have the large oxtails and it was fantastic! The vegetables were on point the oxtails and rice were unbelievable, you just have to try this place! A true culinary experience that's well worth the trip!
When I say "everything is slamming here" I'm not lying! Even the dag gone American/Yankee food dem, is ? on point! Be sure to get thee lemon ? ➕ ginger ? drink with ya plate, or meal! All the staff here, are upright, friendly and helpful ? always! Wish they would ✈ food outta los Angeles to other states in the Free National Republic of The United States of America! There were bugs in my order that actually look like bed bugs. I’m highly upset and would not recommend this place to anyone for safety reasons
