Very disappointed in the food. I feel me and my husband just threw money away, and who can do that! Both dishes were not good and we can no longer support this restaurant on the corner if 64th and LaBrea. Maybe the margaritas are good, but the food was awful.
This is the worst place I have ever been. The truth is that the meat was spoiled completely. I can't believe that they don't have control in the kitchen and they serve the food in this way one could get poisoned with this type of errors and bad practices in the food OSHA and health department should have more control in this type of restaurant or FDA… I don't recommend this restaurant for nothing….
From the outside the place looked closed but I noticed a sign that said open so I parked in front on the street and tried the door and went in. The place was neatly arranged with small silk flowers arrangement at each table and a number of art work on the walls. I initially was the only customer and I decided to eat in. No proof of vaccination was asked for. There was only one worker out front. She worked the floor and cash register. The menu is extensive with a good mix from beef, pork, chicken and various seafood ranging from fish, shrimp, oysters and crab fixed in a variety of ways. The prices ranged from moderate to somewhat expensive. I was brought the prerequisite Salas and torta chips, no refreshing with more once that ran out.. The service was rather slow and inattentive once my order came. No coming to my table periodically to see if I needed anything. I ordered beef flautas that were filled with well cooked beef but for me there was something off with the seasoning, maybe too much cinnamon. The order came with a choice of 2 sides. I chose black beans and a salad. The black beans were plain with little to no detectable seasoning which was strange for a Mexican style restaurant. Like wise the salad came without any offer of a choice of dressing until I asked the server. There's only 2 choices Italian or Ranch. Overall the food was ate able but lacking in seasoning and the only seasoning at the table was salt. The server never came to my table to clear it or ask if I would like to order a dessert or even to bring my check, I tip accordingly. I would not go back to this place just based on what I feel was poor service.
This is my favorite Mexican food restaurant in all of Los Angeles California and I have been too quiet a few please try them everything on the menu is fantastic ?
Great music and food was good. Not a fan of plastic knives and forks. It was the end of the day and customer service was not their priority.
Ate there last night. Spent the whole day on the toilet the next day. I don’t know what the heck was in the food or in the water, but it certainly messed me up.
Service was good. Food took a while for the small amount of people dining.
We visited during the 7 o'clock dinner hour. Despite plenty of open tables in street-level outdoor seating area, we were seated upstairs in an overflow room. We left and went across the street to another restaurant with a more acceptable dining ambience.
Came here today and ordered a fajita trio. I guess the trio stands for 3 shrimp. For 30.00 i want more than 3 shrimp. That’s kind of ridiculous!!
This was a cozy first date place. Food was ok. Wear a jackets open airish. Drinks, and food vast variety.
