Visited this place today for the first time. I ordered chicken fried rice. My friend had garlic chicken wings. She said she loved the chicken wings. The chicken fried rice was average. The rice was a little mushy for me and definitely not enough chicken. Another friend ordered fried rice with just vegetables, they forgot the vegetable and she did like the rice ?.
Originally a Southern establishment, American Deli finds itself on the west coast and the quality is exactly the same

This place is so slow. I hate coming here. I would never eat here if my wife didn’t like it. They suck at service and they don’t care.
Good food but Prices are too high. I really liked their wings and have gotten them a few times. They were a bit more expensive before but recently they went up again on their prices and now for 8 wings (15 pieces when seperated) along with (4) shrimp cost me $28 and I DID NOT get a combo with fries. This is price Gouging at its best. I will not patronize them again anytime soon.I think its atrocious that these restaurants are getting away with charging folks $30 for literally 8 pieces of wings and 4 medium shrimp. I will not spend money with them again for a long time.
Food was amazing, took a little while to make though so maybe next time I'll call in. But other than that it was great experience.

The reason for the 2 stars, if you don't know by now CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING!!!!, food is great, but when I've called up there, you guys pick up the phone and hang it right up ??, instead of saying " can you please hold" that would make a world of differenceYou work in the field of customer service so ummm yea
Horrible service I waited a whole hour to get my food in I called in for it they told me 20 minutes the one on slauson in Crenshaw way better
