Live music. Fun place. Spent hours there.
We came here for our first time in February and then returned 3-4 times over the next few weeks. We love this place, very low key but terrific staff/service and the food is very good. We tried various items during our visits however, the BBQ ribs clearly stood out. Very tender and the sauce is excellent. We, also, got take out salads one night and they were perfectly prepared and very tasty as well.
It's hard to get a table for more than 10. But other than that everything was great. Went on a busy night had a good ambiance and they had live music. I will say please update your hours of operation because we were about to go elsewhere but I decided to call before heading over. Steak was perfect. Drinks are short and very potent.
Yummy food. Large outdoor dining area. Live music. What more can a person ask for!
If you want a table then book in advance! As we didn't we sat at the bar. The choice of pizzas was rather limited but come in 3 sizes, 9, 12 and 18 inch. We all shared a "White Pie" . Instead of tomato sauce base this has a white sauce and has chicken and bacon "bits". The overall impression was a bland pizza. The supplied sachets of parmesan and red pepper sprinkles were needed to give it any presence. Sitting at the bar also meant facing 3 TV screens all showing basketball. If this is not your sport don't sit at the bar. Service was good and attentive. They do offer doggy bag service.
The last time we were here, it was just the inside venue. Now there is a huge patio! It's broken into smaller areas which are arranged around fire pits, the dance floor, and two bars. The special was lobster (huge and delicious); the band was fun and a lot of people were dancing; and we had a great time. When we went (5:30) it was still a family crowd; as we were leaving, the singles were starting to come in. Would definitely go here again!
A secluded place on the grounds of the Empire Polo Club, home of Coachella and Stagecoach, this place is a gem. Eclectic decor complete with saddles as bar stools, the staff is friendly, the drinks are generous and the food is fresh and perfectly prepared pub grub with some classic items. Burgers are big, shrimp cocktails are great and the menu is pretty diverse for a dive bar. Stop by if you're in the area, you won't regret it.
Great atmosphere, great food & service was good, outside patio was great & gardens were beautiful
we met friends at the Tack Room Tavern for happy hour. Lauren was our server and she did a great job taking orders, bringing drinks, bringing food for our large group. My date and I shared a california chardonnay. I started with buffalo wings. They were meaty and delicious. I then had the stake strips. Also good. My date had a shrimp cocktail to start and then an order of the wings. The kitchen was good about gluten and dairy allergies. The meal was inexpensive.
Great menu. Fancy items and lower cost items too. Nice bar and restaurant. Moderate prices. Noisy on a Wednesday. Lots of large parties. Not a date place.
