Macy's Grill is one of the best local spots here.They have a large breakfast menu along with their lunch and dinner options.Generally good prices with some items being cheap.This is definitely one of those mom-and-pop shops that have been around the valley for a while. This shows with its aesthetics and by how popular it is.My only real issue is that the store is a victim of success. Sometimes they can be overwhelmed because they have a lot of people coming in during peak eating hours.For people visiting the area, this place should be one of the first places you go to.
I DO NOT recommend this place at all. I definitely do recommend the other Maxcy's Grill but this one just seems like they don't care. I ordered a steak burrito and this was the worst burrito I've had in the valley; it had way too much onion (large pieces), the meat wasn't cooked thoroughly and it just had no sazón. I also ordered a Horchata and I couldn't drink it, it was simply unpleasant tasting. Might as well have ordered a xsmall drink, it was filled with ice. Either way took a sip and had to throw away.I don't recommend this spot.
We order the breakfast burrito often. They weigh about a pound each filled with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, bacon (we order the bacon crispy) and hash browns. The salsa it comes with is homemade and makes it super. Although I love using ketchup instead. Next time I would add some grilled onions to give it that extra spark. I give it a 10! And I've had a lot of breakfast burritos and what you get is worth the near $10 price. We've had similar burritos, not nearly as good and cost so much more. Each time I visit Maxcy's I'm never disappointed.
Yesterday I went in to Maxcy’s in Indio on Hwy 111. I bought a grilled chicken sandwich. As we all know our cell phones cary many germs. As the cook was fixing my sandwich his cell phone rang, he answered it and at the same time he picked up the bread from the griddle and put the mayo on it!I was sick most of the night!I am a chef, no true chef ever does something like that!Needless to say I will NEVER go back there and WILL always speak the truth about that place’n
This is a great restaurant if you're looking for something with a hometown feel and a comfortable environment. Very good service, and the food comes out very quickly. Nothing over the top and very inexpensive.
Food is really good. clean place price is rite.
I took a friend for the fist time to the Hwy 111site and it was a very different atmosphere than my previous visits. Eye contact and a welcoming smile is what I've always experienced. Maybe I went at a bad time. I'll be back again. For now I rate a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I just love the steak and eggs for breakfast. This is where i go for brunch if i wake up around 10 in the morning.
We were hot and tired. Friendly staff. Food was ok. Not some of the best we had on our trip. Needs some updating badly.
