Man ol man this place is the business....you know the food is going to be fire when the lady taking you're order keeps calling you mijo... but man did I fall in love the burgers are absolutely amazing like a McDonald's style if McDonald's have great meat and ingredients... And the fries ...the fries wow with the secret sauce!! Bomb.com can't wait to get sent to Indio again so I can come back...you'd be crazy not to try
This is Good simple deliciousness, I heard so many people talking about the food here, menu is simple cheeseburgers,chicken shakes and fries...when I got my order i thought...ok...not expecting a much...let me tell you...I couldn't believe how great tasting it was! The FRIES are out of this world round sliced crispy and the salsa they give oh where have they been all my life??? I'll tell you where...in my backyard city of Indio. We went on a weekday and they took their last order at 545pm give it a try you won't be sorry! This is literally a place you WALK up to the window order take a seat in their outdoor patio or go back to your car and be sure u listen for your order to be called. No indoor seating. No drive thru..Very vintage lol but soo cute!

My husband and in-laws love this little spot and I don't blame them something about these fries with their special sauce is amazing the burgers are ok I got a chicken sandwich no pickles and it was really good. Plus the staff treats you like family that's why we keep coming back.
If you grew up here in Indio, Ca. and the surrounding cities....you've heard of the Old Famous Burger Box...!!! Their fries go perfect with the double cheese burgers...and if you like spice...don't forget to ask for some yellow banana peppers to go along with your tasty burger..! Everything on the menu is worth trying...like their "Box'o chicken". Burger Box making tasty burgers since 1954...!!!
I've always loved burger box something fast when you're in a hurry it's just he knows been there forever but I do have to say yesterday's experience was not well the chicken was overly dry overly cooked and there was no meat on it it was just crispy bones hopefully next time you'll be different but as for their fountain drinks love them because of the ice

We ordered 1 burger box and one chicken box. We came here as friend and neighbor Steve in Baja California family owns this place. It was a fun visit. Exciting to visit an institution! Keep up the good work. The food was basic and good. The potatoes WE WOULD DRIVE 400 MILES FOR THOSE POTATOES! Memories = priceless!
