El Ranchito was just great for our birthday celebration. They made space for our huge party of 12 and were very attentive to any of our needs. The chips were great, but I found the salsa to be too watery for my taste. The horchata was decent. Now the shrimp and steak dish was very filling and delicious. Overall, we had a great meal here. The restaurant is well decorated and the service is great.
i saw a tv news story on how these guys were voted the best tacos in the nation and i wanted to judge for myself. but after 20 minutes looking at their delicious menu, i didn't even taste their tacos. we took our visiting grandparents and enjoyed every moment. i normally don't pick other people's food but the plates here make you want to taste everything. definitely a 5 star rating
First came here in 1994. The service and food is outstanding!! March 10, 2022, held my retirement luncheon here. Still great food and service!!! Noemi thank you for being very attentive to us. An outstanding Mexican lunch, the chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. My lunch was a chicken taco (grilled tender chicken) and enchiladas (tender chicken) a side of fresh hot sauce. Great atmosphere, incredible service from Delia all at a fair price. I’ll definitely come back.

Good service good food. It was busy in a Saturday night but atmosphere felt good. Food was on point and my son loved his tilapia.
Not sure about other food they got here but I recommend you do not get the Pozole or tacos they are over priced and meats are dry. Personal opinion and others I got orders for.
This Family own restaurant is always a great experience. Friendly staff, clean atmosphere and food is served; fresh and cooked to order. A few of my favorite dishes are the "Botana de Camarones", Avilas Soup, Shredded Beef Hard Tacos and the hand made tortillas to name a few. I have been a patriot for approximately 20 years now and will continue to visit this restaurant. Always a good bet no matter what location I've visited. Thanks Avilas,Sincerely,Jon
Went today for menudo with my husband!! The food is always delicious and the service always great!! Found out my favorite waitress Blanquita retired. She was a awesome waitress!! Our waitress today was Cynthia and she was wonderful!! My favorite spot to eat in Huntington Park!! Been a customer for many years!! Thank you Margarita for running your restaurant with great food and a wonderful staff!!
If you plan on going out, having fun and having a few drinks with family or friends I do not recommend this place. The food is average, the atmosphere is boring and they have drinking rules. Yes! You read correctly they are rules when drinking there. First the food it was ok it wasn't bad but it wasn't great plus they got my order wrong. Second, they had the game on and we were told to keep it down. And finally the beer rules 1. You can't just order a beer you have to order food or you cannot have a drink. 2. you can only have 3 beers if you try to order another one they will deny you. I found it infuriating when the waitress would count every time I ordered a beer. When I ordered for another beer the waitress said "is that 2 for you?" That was the most terrible eating experience I have ever had and that's including fast food restaurants.
