Would’ve been 5 stars had Mary the bartender paid more attention. My husband and I sat at the bar I asked for a water while I looked over the menu and decided on a drink. She never came back. The cook, Antonio, ended up taking our orders and ringing us out. He cooked amazing food and was super friendly.
Get place to get good food for reasonable price. Full bar, but also kid friendly with arcade games. Oyster bar. Sea food is fresh and local.
Super fun place- can seat a lot of people! Huge variety of food - something for everyone: fish, burgers, steak, salad, tacos, alcohol, etc
Love the Fish and Chips Platter. Would have preferred it served with slaw though.
Good food & fun atmosphere.
Laid back, strong drinks, fresh fish, generous portions, great customer service, clean, family friendly and affordable. Never disappoints. Had guest from central coast intoen and they wanted to go back for lunch the next day and we did. During our 2 visits we had ahi sandwiches, Mahi sandwiches, chiopinno, patty melts, house salads, bloody marys and pitchers of draft beers.
Terrific value in the food and drinks, fairly nice staff keeping up with a constant crowd, and very good oysters. I enjoyed the surf & turf Saturday special for only $20! Great shrimp with a delicious sauce. I highly recommend this bar.
The prime rib is my wife and I's reason for dining out on Thursday nights. I'd give them a full five because the food and service are great, except for the removal of the salad bar. I understand we're in a pandemic, but other restaurants adapted, but why not Zubies??
Food is ok. The menu is large. Can be a free-for-all when busy but luckily I've gone here many times and know what to expect and can act accordingly. Good atmosphere with bench style seating so if you have a large group you all can sit and enjoy each other's company eating, drinking, watching the TV's. Maybe larger drink cups would be nice.
Love the atmosphere of Zubies. Great staff, bar, variety of seafood and A+
