Not the best tacos on Huntington Main St. We were really disappointed with the shrimp, stay away from it. The Carne Asasa combo was ok, not enough meat and a lot of toppinps. The rice and pico de gayo garnish was the best part of our meals, barely touched the black beans. The margarita was poor too. Not so busy compared to other eateries on 4th of July. Spent $55 for 4 people.

Good stuff. Tacos and enchiladas are what I tried there and they were good. Ceviche wasn't the best. It was like something else. Overall not a bad place by the beautiful beach!
I lived here in 2003 and used to run 35mm projection at the Mann's Pier side Cinema and worked at HHS. Back then Wahoo's was a life saver as I was working close to 20 hours a day 7 days a week and it was all I had time for and could afford. 20 years later I come back to HB and I swear it is exactly the same. The spicy fish burrito with spicy white beans is absolutely perfect, like biting into a time machine. Main street has drastically changed, for worse or better is a matter of opinion, but Wahoo's still holds it down with the old school HB vibe. Get it.
I am here visiting and this is my second trip to wahoo in the last two days. Within my group we have ordered almost everything on the menu and it has all been great. One of the best grilled fish tacos of my life. Today our large order got messed up and I am pretty sure it was our fault. The cashier Kate was completely apologetic and sweet even though I am pretty sure it was our fault. Great food, great service and good vibes. 5 stars for wahoo and Kate.
Best unique South American Mexican fare. Big menu, great chips and salsa. All locals go here because they know it's amazing.
Love this location in downtown HB. They currently have indoor and outdoor seating, the service here is always fast and friendly ??. Food is fresh and delicious, my favorite at any Wahoos is the fish tacos ?
Update 4/5/22: a bit disappointed in the service this time, person taking my order was preoccupied and not friendly. While still tasty, the burrito needed to be warmer. Service was still fast. Streetside seating is still available.Previous review: Friendly service, great fish burrito. Nice view of Main Street, Surf City.

Never been here before. Fish tacos sounded good. When put together with the condiments wasn’t bad. Fish was a little overcooked. Rice and beans were good. Menu had plenty of choices. I think I’d try the sandwich next time.
