I was a paying customer in this place Unfortunately I went into restricted area which was not blocked or restricted. The security guard told me to get the F…out. I asked him why he is using profanity to a paying customer for that matter to anyone. the place is not restricted and start moving away from the area. With out notice I am being pushed out of the place with multiple security guards with bad breath and behavior for no Apparent reason. Mind you this is my first experience in Huntington Beach. Just came from the bay so enjoy the hot weather in Huntington Beach and enjoy the area. that didn’t feel good. This place is not the place for us. I never encountered bad security which use profanity to paying customers with out doing just nothing. Do not come here. I was given just seconds to finish my beverage so I can get pushed out. This place is not for us. My wife was in distress because of this ordeal. This guys have no manners at all. There is much better places in Huntington Beach we can spend our money and treated with respect. Management should Re think about there choices on security company that they hire to protect the patrons of this place. It’s not numbers it quality that maters. These are not security guards. Just bums. I’m out.
My favorite bar/lounge in Huntington Beach because it feels like someone’s home converted into a chill lounge. It’s a big venue with multiple rooms and a great patio section overlooking the ocean. Definitely a summer time spot and I was here on a Sunday(no cover charge). It was not too crowded but a great crowd. Dress code was very lax/beachy and security was abundant and cool.
The vibe and the set up are second to none. I think where they need to improve is with the bartending staff and the drinks. Not sure why the bartenders always seem annoyed or bothered by the patrons. Like smiling doesn't cost anything. I get how busy the place gets but you are choosing to work there and you get paid and tipped for it. I have my one bartender I like to go to because he makes some strong drinks and is always positive. Drinks from other bartenders are usually not great.
Good place to have a good time. The place is located on the top floor and it's shaped like a house. Not sure on dress code rules but people were casual dressy. The front desk validate parking. This is a good place to bring friends but not necessarily want a club vibe. The DJ had good music choices. The place was crowded but spacious enough to move around. They have quite a good amount of seating areas. All the servers were attentive and I was not ignored. The prices of drinks were mid range. I dont think this place has food but again, I never asked for food. I would come here again with friends.
Fun and relaxing! Good atmosphere with excellent vibes.
Awesome location. A beautiful sunny bar overlooking the ocean. The vibe is laid back and relaxed. Great day drinking place. My favorite place to play pool with my best friend
The vibe is super cool, like being in your rich friend's house. The drinks were a little light but the atmosphere is worth it. Come early or you'll be in line for an hour.
Great place to grab a drink. Multiple rooms, house vibes. Will be great for sunset once the weather warms up and the tent is gone. Drinks decently priced for the area. Service was also good.
I visited this place two nights. I do so because the first night I came, I felt as though I didn’t get a real feel of it because it was a Saturday. When you see reviews stating that this “has a house party feel”, it definitely does on the weekends. Saturday it was packed shoulder to shoulder. It was difficult to get a drink. You aren’t allowed to sit in many areas due to people reserving tables for table service. The door guy sold a table for 3 people for 450.00. Just to give an idea of cost. I don’t know how they come up with these numbers or if they just wing it. I stood in line for about 30 minutes prior to being able to enter. It was 1030. Long story short on this one, it was okay…I went back on a Wednesday and had one of the worst experiences in my life. There is an app called InKind that the Bungalow partners with that you can purchase credit to use at the Bungalow through the app. It makes it very easy for customers to just come in and basically pay on your phone. My first server Crystal was unsure of the app, but was humble and open to learning about it. Once she figured it out, all was good and first bill was paid. Later on a new server came on. A young gentleman. I ordered a beer, asked him for the check, took the 4 digits at the bottom of the check and paid it with the InKind app. I then walked away to find somewhere comfortable on a couch to sit. About ten minutes later the bartender showed up with a bouncer and started yelling at me saying “what!? Are you just gonna crumple your bill and walk away like that!?” … I was completely lost and taken aback and felt very embarrassed. I tried to explain to him that I paid through the app and that he should go check his computer. He proceeded to tell me he was going to kick me out because I didn’t pay my bill. I then asked him again to go check his computer on his end, because I paid. He stormed off, bouncer to follow. Everyone that had been sitting around me having conversation with me left. I felt very uncomfortable. A few minutes later the bartender came back, quickly said that he was sorry and that I was right… and just turned around and walked away. I quickly finished my beer and left. I don’t know if I will ever come back because of this. Managers should be educating their employees about this payment method so the customer isn’t the one having to walk them through it. I just wanted to enjoy my time here and have nothing but excellent things to say… but, how this was handled was totally unacceptable.
Great vibe here. Good Drinks. Kinda pricey. But good Music, and always a friendly crowd.
