I've been eating here since this place was Mr pickles. Mike is a sandwich master and when he went out on his own instead of going franchise the first thing he did was increase the quality. First, he only offers Dutch crunch, which in my opinion is better than the Mr. Pickles version. The bread is soft yet. Crunchy and even on the areas where it doesn't have that famous crunchy part, it's still delicious and chewy. Next to the ingredients which in my opinion are the top and highest quality you can get for a sandwich hence the price. The bacon doesn't taste like cheap reheated. In a microwave bacon, there is a smoky flavor while all the sauces feel like they're handmade. In my opinion, everyone who complains about the customer service or this place doesn't understand that with good quality takes time. An hour for a meal from Gordon Ramsay. I have to say Mike's sandwiches are pretty dang good in that category and I will definitely be back as many times as possible
We ordered 4 huge (sz large) sandwiches to take to the beach. When we arrived for pickup and the owner realized we wouldn't be eating them for over an hour he was so cute. He freaked out a bit and told us they were meant to be eaten right away and made us promise not to judge them after sitting for so long. Well even after 1.5 hrs they were still the best sandwiches we've ever had! We even had one of the 4 the next day and it was delicious. Cant wait to try one fresh off the press!!
Messy sandwiches are the best sandwiches!Their signature Dutch crunch bread is amazing. So far everything we've eaten here is great.
Super good sandwich creations. Their bread is crisp on the outside and tastes amazing. They picked lots of good ingridients and combined well into their sandwiches. Must try!
My very first experience here i just want to say the sandwich was very good and the only reason im giving less than 5 stars is because I ordered what i thought was a tuna melt I received a cold tuna sandwich after patiently waiting for a half and hour. The cashier did apologize and offered to replace it. After waiting a half an hour i didn’t want to wait any more. Maybe next time this happens to a customer offer a voucher for a free sandwich.
No place is perfect so I left 4 stars. Having said that..wooooooooowwww! Had the Culture Club. Unreal. The bread was good, the meat was quality, the avocado and bacon were great and the cheddar tied it together. Definitely recommend
the “subculture” sandwich is really tasty! the bread is super fresh. i order it without the sauce/mayo and it’s perfect. you can get one sandwich (the middle size of the three options) and split it for 2! i don’t understand why they don’t allow customers to go inside the store though..
The sign to the right of the door states " If you're in a hurry you're at the wrong place, Mike" Thank for the tiny heads up Mike but do you think you could add that sign to your orders site!?!I mean they have barricaded the store (see pic) and requires online order only but NOWHERE does it state it will take 40 mins to make 2 subs! They are good subs but not 40 min wait time good when you have a limited time for lunch. We won't be back.
The powerhouse is the hidden gem. ? but my 2nd and 3rd place picks are the Cuban and The Godfather. Over the past few weeks I’ve tried every sub in the menu and I can confirm they are all good! Depending on your mood there is a sub for you. From the refreshing Wicked tuna to the hangover curing godfather. If you poke around the menu long enough and you’ll find something calling your name!
Ordered online and asked for one of the subs to be breadless. Im really pleased and happy with how they put my custom order together.As always, the ditch bread and sandwich were extraordinary.Im not a fan of ordering online, but as a member of the secret club I got a cool secret club discount ?Happy happy
