We had the Super Sonic bacon double cheeseburger and the regular cheeseburger. Both were very good and fulfilling, definitely a hungry mans burgers! And the Reeses Blast Shake was yuuuumy and super thick. I decided to dine-in and it was so cold inside. AC and ceiling fans going, my food got cold real quick. I recommend to do the drive-in for sure.
I get there's an employee shortage, supply chain issues, and covid, but considering the other posts, this is an owner/manager issue with the wait times. I've worked in retail and food services, from fry cook to manager and there is no excuse for the experience. Despite the staff clearly stranded without training, guidance, and leadership, and embarrassed about the situation, they were polite and apologetic for issues not caused by them. Not worth a 1-hour wait. 1-star until this Sonic is under new management.
First of all we waited for food for over an hour then I still had to go up to the front counter and asked what was going. Once there it looked like everybody was misguided and didn't know exactly what to do. After I received my order I find out that my son got his chicken tenders raw there is a picture posted along with his comment, horrible experience ever will never be coming back to any Sonic at all !!!!If I could give negative stars I wouldAlready submitted a compliant with upper management.
Wait time of over an hour. There was no communication from staff at drive thru speaker. Had to drive to window to order. When food was handed to me the food was cold and dangerously undercooked. Then after letting the employee know, they microwaved the same food and gave it back to me. No sense of care in the employees' behavior. No apology for wait time. I understand labor shortages and being understaffed but this is inexcusable. The store should have shutdown if this is the type of service they had to offer.The owner of this franchise needs to evaluate their management and make changes or this location is going to suffer. The folks who are really hurt are the customers looking for a good meal with quality service.If I could give less than 1 star I would.
Finally tried Sonic. The TV commercials make it look so good! It wasn't. The grilled cheese sandwich was dry as dry could be. And limp. The skinny french fries tasted like they were soaked in salt water (and I love salt), but not these. The vanilla shake was nothing special at all. Oh, and the service was crummy and it was not crowded at all. The speakers were bad. They delivered our order (grilled cheese, fries, bacon burger, vanilla shake and a chocolate shake) to our car and forgot the french fries. Brought out the fries about 10 minutes later, cold, limp. I won't be back.
typing this after being here for an hour and a half. we waited 20 minutes to get someone to take our order, then the screen said our order is ready and someone is headed to our car with it. Forever later and we still haven’t got our order. So many people are just driving away and the employees come out with late orders and notice there’s no car at the slot so they are throwing away soooo much food and drinks. That’s such a waste. This is sad. There’s also just ONE girl I see bringing out food and drinks to cars. I’m more exhausted than I am hungry now. We might just give up on waiting and go home. We won’t be back and don’t recommend anyone who is in a rush stop by. If you need to waste your time then this is the place for you.
Our tater tots and slushies were good. My boys’ had cheeseburgers and they said they were really good. I got a crispy chicken sandwich and it was thinnest, most dry chicken I’ve seen in my life. The bread was so stale and tasted burnt. ate half of it because I hadn’t eaten all day and it was dinner time and we were running late for my other kid’s volleyball game. I wondered to myself if they made this sandwich a few days ago and it had been sitting under the warm lamp and they tossed some lettuce on here. It definitely did not look like the photo on the menu. This is the second time I’ve had less than great food from here and I don’t eat here often. I’d like to know if this is what to expect if I get a chicken sandwich from here. If so I don’t think I will be back.
I never write reviews but this one deserves it. I ordered through the online app and arrived at the correct time. I checked in stall 3 through the app, and I guess I waited 20 minutes before getting irritated and frustrated. I decided to call them through the phone and the purple hair girl said there stalls are not currently working. She told me to go through the drive thru as it was jammed pack with 12 cars deep. Seriously? what the heck.. I just waited 20 minutes, now I have to wait another 25 minutes? Jeez really super annoyed about the whole situation. waited 45 minutes for double cheese burger and a slushy while ordering AHEAD OF TIME. Plus they got my order wrong, I received single patty cheeseburger instead. Please train your employees better Sonic, Thanks. Worst Sonics Location I’ve ever been to. I'm pretty patient and understanding but everyone working here does not know what they are doing including the managers. Don’t go here unless you have patience like Mother Teresa or like getting something different than what you ordered.
The service was slow. Took us over 30 min to get our food and when we got it. The frys were rubbery and cold. Chicken strips were dry and they forgot one of our kids meal. The burger was bland like school lunch. The guy that ordered after us waited 30 min only to find out that they ran out of ingredients for his order. The other guy wait in the stalls just as long as us had to come in and ask for their food and they still didn't get their order right. Poor example of American fast food. This is the first and last time I will go there.
Service is ridiculously slow. They don’t have enough staff and the wait time for one hamburger was 20 minutes.
